I've got a 21 crew cab xlt with gray cloth with the 40/20/40 workstation looking to swap to the standard non workstation center bench.

I found some super duty regular cab seats on ebay but noticed the sear belt goes left shoulder to right hip instead of right shoulder to left hip like in mine. Are there any other differences? Id be keeping the seat bottom so the rear cupholder and power ports will be there as well as my matched key to locking storage.

Is there only one gray color? I notice some don't have the pattern on the headrest but I could swap my current one in there.

Just trying to figure out what works, I saw a swap thread on the tremor forum but prices have gone way up since that thread was made and the whole seat is hundreds of dollars cheaper than when that was created.

If I'm correct 23+ super duty should work and 21+ f150 obviously, but do I need to find crew cab, do other years work, etc?

Looked through eBay, the only ones I saw that went left to right had a loose reel. Those would be for the single cab, you need one with an integrated right to left belt. The gray cloth is pretty universal, I THINK you can go all the way to a '17 and still be good.

Thanks!! I didn't even think about how the single cab mounts to the cab and not the seat! I wondered why they were sitting in the storage box and not attached

If you want the cloth to match you’d have to source from another XLT. XL/STX use different material. It may look similar in photos but you’ll notice a difference once it’s in the truck.

More great advice!

Does this include the armrest material part or just the seat fabric? I'm considering buying a single cab seat and removing the storage bin and swapping it over that way as those seats are $150-$200 cheaper and I don't need the whole seat anyway

OK so here is what I ended up doing for those finding this in a search down the line.

I bought an unused 2024 Single cab jumpseat off ebay. I was able to take the cupholder, storage bin and the framing underneath and fit it into the crew cab jump seat seatback. The framing in the single cab model has accommodations for the in-seat seatbelt even though the belt is not threaded through. You will need to take out your passenger seat and pull back on the side plastic on the jumpseat where the seatbelt anchors to to remove the lower bolt that anchors the seatbelt in order to thread it through the seatback frame. Theres a trim piece at the top of the seat you have to remove too. This all took me probably about an hour or so.

I did break a clip when removing it from the seat I bought but everything does fit snug and tight despite this. If it does loosen up i could buy a replacement piece but new its the same cost as I paid for the whole seat.
