4/4/22 Build Week Group

So I am out of the dealership service bay for now. Turns out my issue with no Fordpass or Bluetooth is a missing TCU. The TCU is mounted behind the rear seat and there are just wires dangling where they should be plugged into a TCU. Doesn't give me the warm and fuzzy feeling from a Quality Assurance check perspective. Part is ordered and will be here sometime in the future. Disappointing for an expensive truck. The dealership is apologetic but yikes. I joked about the latest constraints being tires, but it appears the constraints were the brains (TCU). I hope I don't discover more missing parts as the days go on. Still love the truck.

So just curious did you get a tear tag on the As built when you got modules. As I understand it they don't give a tear tag until the TCU is installed. Makes me wonder if it got Yoinked somewhere. Hope they get it fixed for you soon.

OK so I see the PCM also sits behind the back seat and it is related to the Tear tag.

I have had a tear tag since 4/2, im missing the TCU, on chip hold

Been sitting at the dealership since Wednesday May 11. No ETA on when it will be ready. Not sure how long it normally takes to do a PDI, undercoat and install a spray in liner. Starting to wonder if there is an issue that isn't being disclosed. Dealer says they will let me know when it's ready...

Dang. Mine got a PDI in about 4 hours from the time it arrived. When I asked why so fast? They replied "Look around. This place is a ghost town for inventory. So there's no reason to procrastinate"

About 3 weeks in my possession now and ~450 miles of commuting. Flawless so far, which is a relief considering the crazy stuff you hear these days.

Exactly. Same thing at this dealership too. Ghost town. So not sure what the hold up is.

Recall? Issue with the build they uncovered? Did they crash it?

My truck delivered yesterday, need spray liner and cover installation, maybe pick it up end next week.

Rail arrived on Tuesday, off loaded and showed up in United Road tracker on Wednesday, delivered to the dealer this afternoon. Picking up on Monday afternoon. After 346 days since I ordered, I will FINALLY get my truck. Pics on Monday!
