Supposedly it is the number of days your vehicle will be in transit. Shipped to Delivery.

What happens?

I tried it. Apparently you have to be in the truck to activate a new new vehicle in the app. It waits for an input from the Infotainment system.

I did a few days ago. When I picked up my truck today, it didn't want to pop up and it took several vehicle restarts to get it to work.

My dealer informed me on 7/14 that my truck was on a railcar in Detroit. The tracker then updated to a shipped date of 7/15. Dealer said that he'll give me the status when it arrives in New Jersey (from there it will get trucked into Connecticut). When should my expectation be on when it arrives at the dealer? Truck from NJ to CT cannot be more than a day let alone few hours. From what I hear rail is slow. Is it that inefficient that it may take 30 days?

Get the rail car number from the Dealer then you can track by calling CSX tracking number. 1-800-235-2352 option 1. The rails are slow as the train does not make a straight shot from dearborn to your state, Sometimes the car is uncoupled and hooked up to a different train. Mine left Dearborne on 7-16, arrived in Ohio on 7-18, was transferred to a different train and was scheduled to leave Monday morning with an estimated arrival in Jacksonville FLA on Sunday the 25th after making two more stops and one more switch along the route. Then they have to uncouple the car, unload it, and load it onto a transport to deliver the rest of the way.

It comes up in Ford Pass as activation pending, You then have to confirm the activation in the truck on the console. A couple of people have said they have done this and someone on the other end activated for them and they were able to keep tabs on the truck. Don't know if that is true or not.

So watching this thread, I see where a lot of us waiting have finally gotten a 'built and shipped' notification. But I gotta ask ?!? My truck was built in Dearborn, now its on its way through Chicago and down to Kansas City. Only to then be transported back up to Ganger. What is being done in Kansas that pushes Dearborn trucks south before departing for their final destination? I'm assuming it's some sort of hub to deliver from but are there other truck matters there that will be addressed?

Got an update today! Checked on Palsapp and it showed my truck on another (3rd time) manifest. Checked a few minutes ago and it says the transport was dispatched. It's only 9 hours from KC to St. Paul, so my truck should arrive at the dealer's tomorrow.

Just as I am leaving on a 12 day trip out of state! Guess it will give them plenty of time to check it over.


I had attempted to activate Fordpass on the app and it said it was pending activation. As it was being loaded on the transport, evidently the driver pushed the "deny" button instead of the "activate" button. I received a notice the activation request was denied at a specific time.

I'm pretty sure my 10/31 ETA membership is ending as Ford tracker is showing 8/4 to 8/10 ETA. But PALSAPP showing "Destination name: Null" and

And I THINK I am still in the 4/19 build-week as Ford tracker shows 4/21 build (Wednesday):

All-in-all, it's good to see progress. Hoping to see the truck within the next 2 weeks.

My PALSAPP now shows a destination! But I still do not have the checkmark under the built column yet. So it must be waiting on something else to happen.

My 4/20 production date truck updated the eta from 10/31 to 8/20 last night. My reorder has a blend date of 7/18, so its very possible both trucks arrive at the dealership within a week of each other.

I reached out to my dealer today to confirm eta and he said the truck is being shipped to the dealership with no chip, and that it could take months to get a chip. Status still shows in production but with delivery eta of 8/20. Good thing my reorder is in transit!
