If all they had to do is install chips to get these trucks on their way to dealers & sold, they would definitely be their #1 priority.

But that's not what's happening because that's not all these trucks need.

It might have been when they parked them but it isn't now...

What do you theorize is happening to them? I think the logistics and the manpower to complete them is the challenge. That and the unions wanting the assembly lines running, not one off staging areas. But who knows....

There is an almost zero chance that they are able to complete these trucks before they stop production of the 2021 models. I think those of us that will see trucks before Oct 31 will be the lucky ones, and the unlucky ones will get them in December/January. I fully expect my truck will be delivered almost a full year after my Jan 25 order.

And actually, I believe a lot of us will have our orders simply cancelled and be told to reorder in 2022.

I agree I believe they are understating the number of trucks with the steering problems, and by holding them they don’t add to the count of the numbers on recall. If they are not officially produced,

There was also a lot of trucks missing tailgates, so rear cameras and or power tailgates and steps

I emailed Jalopnik, Autoblog and I will try to find more auto news sites to tell our story to. There were articles on the stored vehicles a few months ago, but the word needs to get out that they are still there!

Everyone I talk to who knows I ordered a truck are amazed I haven't recieved it yet. It's been 6 months!
Same with me

There is only 1 feature im getting a new F150 for , if this was just a regular purchase I would tell Ford to shove it up their tailpipes and go buy a warlock for 10000 less than this truck. ?Ford

My window sticker got updated to June 7. But tracker still stuck at "in production 4/21/21" and still says "delivery estimate 5/18/21".
Tracker seems to have lost track of time.

What do you mean your window sticker got updated to June 7th? I wasn’t aware that showed the ETA date?

Not ETA. I was referring to the date at the bottom of the window sticker which seems to get updated each week.
It seems to be the ONLY thing that is changing.
