Hey all, I just swapped out my stock mirrors for the same featured tow mirrors. As expected, the cameras are not working properly and the passenger side does not work at all just showing blue. I tried to run a 360 camera alignment with FDRS but I keep getting an error saying that it failed to start. I do believe I am following all of the instructions correctly. The bed camera works fine, but none of the other ones do showing a very washed out screen other than the aforementioned passenger mirror camera showing blue. I tried clearing IPMA learned values, but that just created more problems as now nothing is working related to IPMA.

Any ideas?

Based on the DTCs I'm wondering if the passenger side camera is just dead (or I didn't plug it in properly) and that is causing the blue image and failure for calibration to run. Maybe I'll take the panel off and check the connections to see if anything changes.

Not directly related but after installing the mirrors I found damage to the drivers side mirror so Sam Galloway Ford is sending a replacement for both. If it is indeed a bad camera module, I'll be able to swap it out.

Since I cleared the IPMA values (likely stupid of me to do so) is there any way to fix that part outside of the camera issues? Or am I screwed until I can get the calibration routine to run (and likely will have to buy another FDRS license)?

You most likely need to do the lane centering calibration now. I would assume you wiped that out. You can do that calibration with Forscan.

Thanks for the replies! I did have 360 cameras from the factory, so functionally the only change is telescoping (which works fine after a forscan change).

Where would I do the lane centering calibration in forscan?

Should be under the wrench icon. Its actually called "lane Departure Warning System Camera Calibration". You just need to find a straight road with good lines on the side to run the calibration. The DTC says there is no signal from that side camera. I would double check the connections then try clearing the DTCs.

@antho, thank you very much, really appreciate it. Will check the connections and run the lane centering calibration (and report results)

Also, Its normal for the other cameras to be washed out when there is a camera view missing. Once that camera connection is good, you should'nt have the washed out image.

Makes sense - how funny will it be if I find I forgot to plug in one of the connectors :) I will say the BLIS sensor and motors work, so maybe I just missed the camera connection or its not secure (or the camera is shot)

Did the lane centering and adaptive cruise re-learns in forscan. Just need to do the 360 camera alignment now and the rear camera and should be back in action

Unless the camera views are messed up, i wouldnt do a calibration. Seems like the 360 view is good?
