Dearborn has trucks built waiting for parts, that have been waiting for over a month, while new trucks get off the line complete and shipped right away. I have no idea when my March 30 build will leave Dearborn, but my dealer tells me it could be in the fall.

For KC does that mean that only the Transit line is going to run on 5/31 and 6/7 or that only the transit line is being cut back to a single shift and the F150 line will be running?

Edit: ok in the news story (and re-reading the memo) they say the whole plant shut down an additional 2 weeks (5/17 & 5/24), boo. Assuming they are still (at this time) planning to run the F150 lines 5/31 and 6/7

I hear ya. I’ve been waiting since 3/17 and seeing other trucks get build dates of April and then show up to dealerships is getting a bit annoying.

At this point, those still waiting on their F-150s should get 2022 models for their previously negotiated price of their 2021 build. If their 2021s aren’t going to be built until at least June, that’s just a couple of weeks before the new model years should come out anyway. It appears they simply won’t have time to make all of these back logged and bumped 2021 orders.

The only thing I have seen on the dealer's web sites in my area are XL and XLT's and half of them are "IN transit" probably stuck on-ramp 59 also

What does "on-ramp 59" mean. (sorry - I'm new here) My truck was scheduled for delivery the week of April 5. Said to be already built. What would take so long on delivery? Anyone have any idea? Thanks! Mike

I agree!! Ford should consider those who have orders in place to have the option to get a '22 vehicle for the agreed price.

So the KC F150 plant has been idle since 4/19/21 and won't re-open at the earliest until 6/1/21? (Assuming they'll be closed 5/31/21 For Memorial Day).
