Reading thru this again. Did you get it looked at? And what was the feedback?I'm going to take it back to the dealerships and ask them to take a look at it. Sounds like 12.3MPG is way too low. Thanks for the feedback everyone!
That is amazing. I have a stock 4x4 platinum EB max tow with 4k miles and I don’t get anywhere near 23MPG. On a flat stretch of freeway I’m lucky if I get 21MPG at 75 MPH.Mileage has improved for me over time. Just over 3000 miles on the truck at this point. Last trip was 23.4 mpg cruising at 75. Pretty pleased with that TBH. Stock 4x4 platinum EB max tow.
Do you happen to have a 3.73 rear axle?I’m clearly doing something wrong. Even if I drive like a granny, I’m only getting 17.5mpg with 87 and close to 19.5 mpg on 93 octane by the computer. Unfortunately when I do the math at the pump it’s actually about 1 mpg less than that. I have just under 2k miles on the truck.
I have the Max tow package so it’s the 3.55. I do wonder if the tow might might make a little difference. I’ve also noticed that my MPG seems to be less if I use the cruise control.Do you happen to have a 3.73 rear axle?
The 3.31 should get the best at highway miles. 6.7 Power Stroke guys are saying that they are getting 20+ highway with a 10 speed and 3.31 gears. Phenomenal for a truck that size that rocks 1000 lbs of torque.
For Mother's day I drove from San Antonio to Ft Worth with cruise set at 70 (even in 75 zones due to wet roads) I averaged almost 25 mpg. Once I hit Ft Worth and had to get off cruise and deal with traffic it went down a smidge. 36gal tank oh yeah!
Yeap4x4?
