After the first 1,000 miles local, hwy and city rush hour traffic on hwy 18 to 19. I use regular gas, have the 20" tire option on short bed Lariat driving in "normal" mode but I do have a heavy foot.

Are those other similar MPGs from other posts using premium as well? I wonder if the 3MPG increase by using premium pays for itself. I guess if it breaks even you're at least putting "cleaner" gas in your carI did a 30 minute super flat highway drive the other day in eco mode with the lightest foot possible... I was showing an avg of 27.5 mpg based on the computer. xlt 302a fx4 3.5 eb 3.55 rear with 87 octane... I was driving about 60 mph. I have no idea how accurate it was but even if it was 10-20% off I'd still be getting 22-25 mpg. I don't know if this is even possible but I plan on trying this again with a full tank of 93 and filling up when I get off the freeway to calculate.
Normal driving is a different story. I have about 650 miles on my truck and I'm averaging about 18 mostly city driving. I've been very mindful of my driving habits to get that number. If I'm playing with it AT ALL the number drops super fast.
I have seen several posts with similar mpgs on highway driving with the 3.5 in other gen 14 groups, so who knows....
