Looks great!!! You stayed with Fac size 275/60-20?
Actually they're 275/65-20, I had to go back and edit my post. Went from 60 to 65's and stayed at 9" wide on tires. With the lift, which was required in front, they fit... barely.

Does anyone have a picture of a ‘21 with 275/65 r20 BFG KO2 tires?
I have those exact specs, but mine are Nitto Ridge Grapplers... close enuff for you I would think.

Lift *required* and depending on tire size differences, you may have rub as I get a small rub at extreme radius.

Some of that may be a result of the +12 Offset of your wheels. If you were using the stock wheels (not nearlycc vs as nice as yours) there wouldn’t be rubbing b

Just to clarify -

On the rubbing - yes, maybe.
On the lift - no, it's definitely required (2" leveling kit)

That’s what I thought too, but they are going to match DiscountTire prices now, so no big deal. Now the question is do I go 275 for $500 or 285 for $1100. Not sure the extra $600 is worth it.
It is! Im coming from a '16, i ran 275s for 4 years before putting 285s on... the 285 looks significantly better in my opinion. I will be putting them on my 21 when it lands.

I’m trying like hell to go 285, but the choices are slim. To do so, probably going to have to use another shop. Luckily, the guys doing the tint sell tires, so as long as they are bit overpriced, maybe I can get it done all at once. I’ll have to sell the stock tires, but no big deal.

You've obviously done your research (I read another of your very thorough posts), but then there's a thread on the forum where someone fit 285/65/20s on the stock wheels without a lift: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/got-my-2021-f150-platinum-in-smoked-quartz.838/

I'll find out soon enough! I'm talking to my local shop about putting on 275/65/20 KO2s on the stock wheels without a lift.

Thanks. Even with the stock rims (+44 offset), I'd be shocked if you didn't rub and didn't have to seriously shave down the front plastic bumper part....

I was in the bay at discount tire when they were just starting to hang the wheels on the hubs, and they really didn't think it would fit - they were like 'no way', until they bolted them on, and put the truck down off the lift allowing it to naturally 'sit up more in the wheel well' due to that shock compression... then they were pleasently surprised by it... and proceeded to do rotation tests and warned me of rubbing at extreme or speedbumps.

@satexas Is your truck a 4x2 or 4x4? That other truck is a 4x4, so, if yours isn't, that may explain the difference in clearance. I believe that the 4x4 sits about an inch higher in the front.

@oddlou,
Yes! But, as you noted, those 285’s were on the stock wheels (+44 offset), not these wheels (+12 offset).

Moving the tires by that 32mm (1.25 inches) increases the arc through which the wheel moves as you turn, increasing the chance of rubbing.

If you use stock wheels, you should be OK. I would of course defer to the man who actually did this in the real world, @bz-agg.

Nice looking truck. I ws thinking of going with the zone lift as well. Looks like most of the rake is out, is there much difference in height from front to back on the wheel wells.
yeah, there's still some rake to it, over an inch.

Leveled my lariat 502 fx4 this week. Rough country 2” billet spacers. 275/65/20 toyo open country at3’s. Still have exactly 1” rake which was what I was wanting. Ride is a bit stiffer as expected but still smooth. Mileage suffered a bit but hard to say how much as I only had a couple hundred on it prior. Speedometer is only off by 1 mph measured by gps.

Slick looking rig, amigo. I now know what level/tires I'll be going with when I can find some OEM 20s.
