Definitely wheel well liners next up! Just trying to see if I can grab a pair for under $100 on any sales either from Rough country, Ford, or Husky. What are you planning next? I say the husky wheel well liners would be a good investment.
Didn't realize RC was already that cheap priced! Thanks for the heads up.Mine ran 0-60 in 5.41 seconds stock and is a 4x4 5.0 with 3.31 gears which is just insane for a supercab. I can tell you with relative certainty that Ford did a good job on the exhaust system including the manifolds so gains may not be much with those modifications. You wont gain much with an intake either. Running 93 octane though does make it feel a little more peppy and I think helped in the 0-60 run.
I have these and like them and under $100.

Thank you. I don't know if I want to spend $500-$1000 on a tune when this thing is already very quick (for me anyway). There is no free lunch with those things so I’m not sure the compromise in efficiency is worth it. Maybe if the tune improves the transmission shift logic which I sometimes don't like in normal mode, especially the 1-3 shift where under light throttle there is a hesitation for some reason, but not always. I would rather improve the front seat comfort with a power seat upgrade and maybe some leather too. Warm weather is a month away for me so that is when I usually get the itch to do things. I bought this truck to haul stuff, tow my bass boat on fishing trips, and take the nephews fishing in the bass prowler. This truck has already gotten a lot of use in the two months I have had it.Didn't realize RC was already that cheap priced! Thanks for the heads up.
And that is very fast for stock truck. Are you going to tune it once they allow it or keep it stock?
I really hope I can dig up information on if the 24's are able to safely run E-85 as they took that away starting in 2024. I would love to run it for the power gains of it and I have it readily available around me!On E-85 I was able to get a 5.2 second run, typically my 5.0L is around 5.5 seconds 0-60 on regular gas. It’s hard to get the rear wheels to bite from a dig, it spins a lot.
Oh I agree michelin are great! I've ran them on everything from my Daily driver beater to my 700HP Corvette and loved it on every car. Luckily mine doesn't have the shit Firestone on them as mine is hankook. But will definitely switch to Michelin once the time comesThank you. On a side note, On my 2014 F-150 2wd I swapped the recently installed Firestone Destination LE2 Tires for Micheline LTX all season truck tires (Defender series) and wow, what a difference. I had my 2014 F-150 in the shop six times between three different shops, trying to get those tires balanced, and it turned out that the tires had excessive run out which is a quality manufacturing issue. This is the second set of Firestone destination tires I have had an issue with and I will never buy them again after this experience. Firestone tires are garbage! The Michelin‘s are way better and much smoother. I found out the Firestones are made in Costa Rica and the Michelin tires are made in the USA. Moral of the story is you get what you pay for and don‘t cheap out on tires.
Ah ya a 2024 won’t run E-85 until they are tunable. It was the only way match by buddies Explorer ST. On 93 octane it was close after she revved but he’d get it out of the gate on me. When on E-85 he didn’t get an inch out of the gate till the limiter. But alas the F-150 speed limiter runs out much sooner anyway lol. Still cool a stock V8 pickup keeping right up with Fords dedicated performance SUV.I really hope I can dig up information on if the 24's are able to safely run E-85 as they took that away starting in 2024.
