Two weeks ago I placed an order for a '21 F-150 Lariat. Like many my '21 is now going to be a '22.
I'm not concerned about the change, my salesman had mentioned this could be the case, just hope it's not going to be pushing delivery date out exceedingly far.
My question is does anybody know definitively what, if any, differences there will be between the '21 in the '22? I've seen comments of speculation but nothing definitive.

I believe the order guide will be available tomorrow. That will specify any updates or changes.

The order guide posted on this Forum a few minutes ago. Some colors are dropped. Black out added.

Already checking to see if I can change my order to a '22, or cancel and re-order!

Looks like the only changes that affect the Lariat are color deletes and mine isn't one....

Now it's just a waiting game.

Just ordered my 302 high xlt Powerboost yesterday, overly optimistic salesman said they had a perspective date of Decemberish. But I’m assuming I’ll probably be like you guys and get rolled into 2022

Yeah I was surprised they still let me instead of making me make a 22’ but they did say if they were to roll or bump me to 22’ I’d be locked in on my price. I got the sport package so I really hope they don’t get rid of it just cuz I want it with the hybrid and 7.2kw

Glad I got the Kodiak brown. My second choice was the Guard. Wonder why they removed both (and Leadfoot). Maybe can't source the paint? Or price was too hight? Or just too little orders to keep it.

If I had to guess, the biggest change will be the price! Base XL will probably stay the same so Ford can still brag about low MSRP, though just like Job 2 options, I imagine most options will increase in price.

They'll hide the extra $$$ in the packages and 20% or more wouldn't surprise me.

I ordered my truck in 2020 and got screwed over when the MaxTow package went from around $1,200 to $1,800 and I hope people that have been waiting patiently for their 2021s don't get bent over by Ford to get the same truck they ordered as a 2022.

Good luck everybody!

That’s good did they say if you would have to resubmit an order form if they switched you over to a 22?
