Mine arrived over the weekend, salesman called yesterday to let me know it was ready for pickup. Super happy so far, only "major" nitpick is I forgot XLT doesn't include memory seating. Oh well, I'll live without it. This is my first new truck, so I'm still on the new vehicle high. V8 is amazing, sounds incredible especially in Sport mode.

First off congratulations!!! That is exactly the model I ordered. Now the not great news on my order. I ordered my 702 Plat PB last year 12/19/23 and took deliver 10/31/2024. I knew it was going to be a long haul but it was hard to wait. The only extra I had was the wheel well liners but originally had the spray-in. At the time I found out it was a constraint so I had them remove it. The other wild card for '24 was the PAT. I specially wanted it so I had to wait for Job 2 this is where your timeframe could be much faster. I will say this I LOVE the PAT and wasn't sure I would but figured I'm ordering a Plat I'm going getting the new PAT. Absolutely no regrets. I do wish the step was still there but I've gotten around that with a 3rd party step on the side. However the pluses for me outweigh the step 10x.

Something else you can do if you are really really wanting to know weekly. Use the Ford chat function requesting an update on your order. I found they are more than willing to give you status. Now they can't go real in depth but I found my VIN through them before my dealer did. They even gave me the convoy tracking # once it shipped with an ETA that was way more accurate than the website. Best day to ask is Friday. Thursdays are the day Ford does scheduling.

All you need is your order # and sales code # (dealer should give you both) and they can look it up. Ask if they can provide you with a primary status and secondary status.

Best thing you can do is expect a long build time and if comes early that is awesome. Try not to get discouraged if it seems like yours is never getting scheduled.

UPDATE:

Just an update utilizing Aviators guidance. Contacted Ford Chat just now with my Order ID and Sales Code and was able to acquire my VIN. Its been about 50 days since my Order Confirmation email from Ford and haven't received any other updates from them. So its encouraging to have the Ford Chat be able to provide some additional information. With that VIN I was able to check my tracking status which is showing it is scheduled the week of 3/10/2025... Thanks for the help Aviator.

Order confirmed: 12/11/24
Scheduled: 3/10/25

3 months seems like a little on the longer side.. but hopefully that date holds true and progresses fairly quickly from there?

At this point, after receiving the VIN, when would the window sticker be available?

That window is quicker to production than people who ordered in earlier autumn (and far far sooner than model year '24)...hopefully this period will continue to pare delays down.
I'll let others comment on window sticker-blend date. (FYI-order 11/14 confirmed, VIN obtained 7 weeks later w/ production week of 2/17.)

Curious, isn't it?
We were listed as the "lowest" dealer priority of 19 (but I've read, seems nobody knows the significance of this # between 10-19. Our CO dealer is a very small one, low volume and nary any KRs.)

Is anyone else having issues with connecting with Ford Chat? Its not loading at all now. Earlier this morning I was able to get connected after trying numerous times but then my messages wouldn't send ultimately causing the agent I was speaking with to end the chat since they most likely assumed I left.

"Window sticker becomes available once production of your vehicle begins (usually 1-7 days before actual production). Window stickers have production dates on them and week of build and number on assembly line, etc. So it can't be produced until your vehicle is being produced."

I have an Iconic Silver Platinum 702A FX4 on order. Order accepted on 11/20/24; scheduled 11/21/24 for the week of 1/20. Status updated to "In Production" with 1/15 date above. Date updated a week later to 1/22. On 1/31 got an email saying, amongst other verbiage: "We want to provide you with the latest update on your F‑150 Platinum vehicle order. We’ve made great progress on your new Ford vehicle but have unfortunately experienced unexpected delays." So....not sure which option is causing delays but just FYI to the forum. I have the spray-in bed liner and the retractable tonneau cover as well.
