Does anyone know were the tailgate release now? Also were is the auto stop , use to be on top of dash. I have a 2025 King Ranch
There is another thread on here where that question has been a hot topic. It has been confirmed by another MY25 owner that the tailgate release button is confirmed to be gone. But I guess you can still use your FOB to open it.

I went over my truck with a fine tooth comb Friday, there is no longer an interior tailgate release/close switch, the keyfob release/close works from inside the truck, the exterior button is still in the same place as it has been (under the tailgate light) and still works to close the tailgate (yes you have to reach under to activate it)land the “nudge” to close function still works the same…there is no auto stop start button on the power boost as the truck goes into electric mode when the ICE is not called upon…on that note, I wish there was a way to manually choose the electric mode, but I’m sure that’s just me…

Seeing what is missing doesn't seem that big of a deal to me, only factor is the increased cost but vehicles go up every year no matter what.

Having no tailgate inside, I can't imagine ever needing to open the tailgate from inside the truck. HA

Back on topic has anyone noticed the "Schedule to" date move lately?

It did when I ordered my 24 Mustang but I ordered that before they started building. Just wondering if this are close to normal now.

I was originally told 4-6months for delivery, but I'm thinking 3-4.

Thanks

Wishful dreaming but I hope yer good at picking lotto #s too...seems the completed ones in Dec are still taking a month for actual delivery to the purchaser and that's after a ~3 month wait for the build...hoping this time table pares down more w/ added efficiency and fewer holidays but there are production alerts on some component shortages ("limited availability").

Y'all, any new "news" on those w/ completed builds but have been experiencing more prolonged rail off-loading and eventual, prolonged delivery to the dealer by truck? (Is this more of an issue this year?)

Yes. They literally have no idea where the truck is. It was supposed to arrive a week ago. Believe it's sitting in a Rail yard 2 hours away. For 5 days now... it should be here today. I have stopped asking.

Sigh.
(Perhaps) Worse than our parcel delivery here by USPS, FedEx & UPS.
Soo, is VinView of no consequence at that stage, since it's out of Ford's direct control?
(R U tempted to drive to the present GPS location (?Winslow or Flagstaff?) to view and see how the rail paintin' "artists" have customized yer new rig, raging A.I. style?).

Arrived at dealership today. 5 months to the day from order. Tracking site updated about an hour after wheels on ground at dealership. Pick up next week, had eraser sized paint chip on front bumper, dealership repairing.

For any of you who have received or will receive your 2025 order soon, are you planning to wait for "Ford Truck Month" incentives? Curious when they will be announced. I believe it has been early to mid February in years past. Mine has just arrived at the dealership. Wondering if I should delay purchase.

How do you like the Marsh Gray color vs last year's Bronze?

Have not seen it in-person yet. Pick up is now Thursday next week. I'll be sure to share some thoughts on that.

For any of you who have received or will receive your 2025 order soon, are you planning to wait for "Ford Truck Month" incentives? Curious when they will be announced. I believe it has been early to mid February in years past. Mine has just arrived at the dealership. Wondering if I should delay purchase. They say you can tell a lot about someone by their car. My last one? It said, “I’m doing my best, but please don’t ask me to parallel park.” For my next ride, I want something that says, “I’ve got it together,” even if my laundry pile at home says otherwise. Enter leasing, and more specifically, https://carplus.co.uk/ This site is like a personal shopper for your car dreams. New cars, used cars, cars for the weekend warrior or the spreadsheet-loving businessperson—they’ve got it all. And the flexible lease terms mean you’re not stuck with something that doesn’t fit your lifestyle six months down the road. The dedicated account manager? They’re like your stylish friend who tells you, “Yes, you can pull off red leather seats.” Competitive rates seal the deal, making the whole experience easier than assembling flat-pack furniture (and we all know how low that bar is). Leasing is the sweet spot between “I want it” and “Can I afford it?” My next car is going to be a statement piece, even if the statement is just, “I’m finally on time.”
It’s interesting to see how the 2025 F-150 production timeline is lining up with the MY2024 wrap-up. Based on previous patterns, it seems Ford is aiming for a smooth transition, especially with the September 2024 Job 1 date for the 2025s. It’ll be exciting to see if they announce any major updates or changes as we get closer to scheduling.
