2025 F-150 production and scheduling

My truck had a built date of 12/30 (after 3 weeks in QA Hold). I just got a VinView update that it's rail journey just started, with a 5 day ETA to presumably Kansas City. Latest VinView ETA to dealer (Granger) is 1/22.

I’m hoping mine just shows up like some of the others. Ford chat still says it’s released and expected delivery is 1/10-1/16. Assuming the dealer info is more accurate?

I didn’t think this was going to take as long as it has been taking. I already order some things and have my suspension kit, wheels and tires setup to be ordered whenever I get the truck.

Powerboost Only, No Iconic Silver, and Only Chrome. These are the things that prevent me from going 703a, but I'm thrilled for all those that have been waiting! Curious to see if they put the big blank plate where the buttons used to be on the Platinum Plus. Heck, maybe y'all will even get a tailgate button inside the truck.

Edit: The large blank button appears in the Build rendering shown below. That's an interesting approach on the center armrest.

I hit the pre-select button under platinum on the build page. Here's the option.

Received an update today here and via voicemail from Ford Marketing rep. Stated it was being loaded onto the rail car and had a scheduled delivery date of March 3rd!! Whaaat?? Yeah no. So I called them and I spoke to one of the marketing reps and he said that it should be 1/18 of this month but was also seeing the March 3rd date. He advised to give it a few days as it is more than likely a glitch. If it will take an entire month and a half to get here, then I will have to figure out another plan of purchase. I am very frustrated now..

I have movement as well! @CrudeLithium25 looks like my truck was "built" same day as yours. I'm in San Diego, so I'm not sure if my delivery of 1/11-1/17 is accurate or not. I'd say March 3rd sounds like a glitch. Also notice that it's last updated 12/24/24 and built 1/7/25, clearly their system has some bugs.

What is duration of time from order confirmation to rec'g a VIN? (Order confirmation 11/22, 8 days after the order was actually e-submitted to Ford from the dealer).
The order confirmation stated that within 45 days, I'd receive an update...no update received and a chat w/ ford on day 47 after the order confirmation, was of no help in receiving our VIN (nor has our salesperson rec'd any updates or VIN).

Yes, I wish that color was still available as well. I would have gone with that, so my favorite color was anti matter blue from the choices

I had my VIN confirmation email 20 days after my order at the dealership.
I would be calling and bothering Ford marketing department if I were you.
