Looks like CSS found a fix for it; you can add the “L” fog lights back in if you’d like. Just need a 2024 “L” LED fog light assembly and the harness below as it seems.

Everyone should boycott the Lariat Lite and all these stripped down and overpriced upper trims and get XL trucks.

These fog lights remind me of those shitty 110 cameras:

Well it’s true. Now to fix it. I like the harness option. What about Raptor fogs? Anyone retrofit a 2024 with Raptor fogs?

Where did you find this? Do you have a direct link? I can't find it on their website.

‘23 Lariat 5.0
Some of these cheap detail decisions boggle the mind, while prices continue to climb. I spent a small fortune on my Lariat in ‘23 and loved all the LEDs and zone lighting, etc…..then you spot the trash halogen license plate lights for the first time. A true WTF moment. Sure, a $10 fix from Amazon, but why? Couldn’t change Ford’s bottom line that much, and even if it did, it makes me question other decisions I don’t even know about yet.

Big agree. I would have gladly paid the price difference to get the fog lights that match the truck. Same thing with the cheep looking blank plate and missing buttons above the console screen on the 25s. I could see that on lower trims, but not on lariat and up.

It’s like I said somewhere on an earlier post, they are devaluing today’s lariat similar to what they did of yesterday’s XLT about 20 years ago. The super unfortunate thing is that every single one of the cuts are so minuscule that it doesn’t even make sense yet many of them mean something to us buyers. Does anybody know of a way to get feedback to Ford? Clearly there’s the old notion to vote with your wallet, but that doesn’t work here cause they’re still going to produce trucks every 53 seconds so it doesn’t ever seem to affect anything. I’m not sure how many of you remember the poor assembly problems and Rusty axles of the 21/22 model year, so many pissed off customers yet didn’t seem to have any effect.

First of all, I agree with you. I’ve heard the manufacturers don’t like using LEDs because of flicker and the ability for “safety” cameras to read license plates. This is total bs and to that end, my wife’s Jeep has LED license plate bulbs (actually LEDs mounted on a board under a clear lens).

I have been saying Ford is on a slippery slope for some time now. The latest is no longer the greatest. I wonder how much longer this new business practice is sustainable. Ford trucks have always been expensive, but damn it was worth it. Now!? Not so much.

Raptor and F-150 fogs are completely different, different housing and use those OEM RIGID lights. If I were you, I’d just switch it back to the actual L-LED fog light version that was supposed to come with—with a harness and you’re set.

Hmmm, I got a low mileage 21 lariat I could part ways with.
