Great looking truck.
Do you mind taking a picture of your leaf springs? It looks like your add a leaf is installed backwards. Should be a long and short side in relation to the center bolts. The way it looks when the suspension compresses it will rip the factory isolator pads off the fiber overload spring.
Interesting. The instructions say that the long end goes towards the back. I just double checked the provided instructions from Auto Springs. This was a discussion when they were being installed.
Edit: I installed these figuring it was idiot proof.....ugh. this didn't look right to me either. Everything has been ok. Lifted truck approx 1.75". I appreciate the heads up!

Hopefully you didn’t receive the wrong leaf. Maybe contact auto leaf after the holiday and they can assist.

Most definitely. I did some research and now I am wondering if that is the issue. Thanks for the heads up. Greatly appreciated!!!!

Update: I sent my buddy those pictures and he believes those are the leaves for a truck with max tow. I wanted to do some wrenching on my own truck so the deal was I would do the stuff in the back and he would do all the front work. A professional definitely would have caught this right away. Ugh.

Great job! Consider me another one of the people that respects anyone who does their research and improves their ride in a way that they see fit.
There are always going to be easy improvements to be made no matter how expensive pickups get……my King Ranch had a 72k sticker on it and I ordered a replacement for the OEM suspension within two weeks of driving it off the lot (it was a CPO).

Hows the ride on the Bilstein‘s? I had the same setup on a tundra and they rode pretty good a little firm over small bumps in the road.

Right now I only have the back shocks in. With the add a leaf it is hard to tell, but they are definitely a firmer shock. These were recommended because I was looking for a firmer ride. So far so good.

All right so I called Auto Springs Corp. They told me it's ok. My buddy doesn't care for it either, but it did go up in height so they are installed properly. I will keep an eye on that pad on the overload leaf for sure.

I agree with your buddy, doesn’t look right but if auto springs says they are ok. Worst case if it does mess up the isolator pads it could make the suspension noisy when it cycles. Then again with the fiber/polymer over load it might not.
That aside you got the height you wanted to achieve, truck looks great.

So when this all started I was going to keep my rake at about an inch and a half. After some further research and messing around with my truck it's not quite enough. Adding a 2 inch block will put my rake at 2 and 1/4. Still less than what my factory rake was. I picked up Auto Springs 2-in block with u-bolts and SPC shims which were highly recommended.

I don't know if anybody else has had the vibration when you lift the rear of the truck anywhere near 2 in. My last truck I threw on a 3 inch block and I had a slight vibration. I wish I would have known about these shims back then.

If you've been following along I added Auto Springs third leafs which lifted me up an inch and a half.

After the recommendation I called SPC because I'm really uncertain of how much correction needs to be made. They confirmed this should put me back within oem specs at that height. Luckily blocks on these trucks are an extremely easy install.

I'm still waiting for my 6122 coilovers.
