Interesting. The instructions say that the long end goes towards the back. I just double checked the provided instructions from Auto Springs. This was a discussion when they were being installed.Great looking truck.
Do you mind taking a picture of your leaf springs? It looks like your add a leaf is installed backwards. Should be a long and short side in relation to the center bolts. The way it looks when the suspension compresses it will rip the factory isolator pads off the fiber overload spring.
Edit: I installed these figuring it was idiot proof.....ugh. this didn't look right to me either. Everything has been ok. Lifted truck approx 1.75". I appreciate the heads up!
