Got a few more things installed.

BuiltRight bedside MOLLE panel with a Rotopax 3 gal fuel jug. These parts were something I had removed from my Raptor.

You can also see the @TripleAliners bed mat here as well. Its a great choice if you dont want to pull the trigger on the full spray in liner.

Additionally, I added the Boxlink anchors and cleats in the bed as well. You can buy this whole kit off Amazon for less than $35!

And added a cheap Amazon seatback MOLLE panel. Not a bad piece for less than $80

Any issues with the tonneau cover and the BuiltRight Molle Panels REDRAGN? I have the front and rear Molle Panels installed, and just wanted to make sure a MX4 tonneau cover will fit.

No issues other than just installing the clamp on the rail the tonneau attaches to. You can see in the top right corner of my pic where the clamp is installed. It does block part of the panel but for me its not an issue. I literally just flexed the panel back a bit and was able to install the clamp.

Post trip review.

5,100 miles and 99+ hours of driving!!!

From North GA to Moab, Breckenridge, Fort Worth and home. Drove though heavy snow, Moab trails, a day long dust storm in TX , and that insane rain event we just had in the south east on the way home. I gotta say these BFG All Terrains are amazing.

Truck averaged 18 mpg with the highest tank being 20.3 mpg. It loves being around the 65-70 mph speeds. I did figure out it has a 101 mph top speed...

The overall driving experience as compared to the 3.5 ecoboost is very similar. The only noticeable difference is that on some really long highway grades, the 3.5 just adds the boost whereas the 2.7 will need to downshift. Overall this is a hell of an engine to be the "base model." My buddy who drove with me and is a 5.3 Silverado guy might be getting close to becoming a Ford convert!

I was able to complete all the same trails and obstacles in the STX that I did 2 years ago in the Raptor. I did however suffer from the lack of additional wheel travel and ground clearance that the Raptor had. Part of this could be easily remedied with a taller set of tires as my current BFG All Terrains actually measure a hair smaller in diameter than the OE STX tires.

I received an @TripleAliners cargo net while I was out of town and am looking forward to getting it installed and reviewed for y'all soon!

@TripleAliners sent me a bed net to test (its still a prototype)...

Nice little package.

The main test point were some 3D printed rings to install without drilling in the bedsides.

Unfortunately, they didn't work and need a slight revision.

So I just installed the next easiest way.

This is a nice product and will really be awesome as the final version will require no drilling or mods to the trucks.

Also, I hauled my race engine around...still no towing as the dealer still owes me my trailer brake controller...

Will you or have you replaced the stock "diaper" on your STX with an actual skid plate? If so which one? I bought the Tremor skid package for my 2023 and then realized that the air dam assembly must be completely removed, among other things. Also, I'm unsure how the plate lines up with the oil drain plug for the 2.7L as it was designed for the 3.5L and 5L options that come with a Tremor. I don't want oil changes to become a pain in the neck if I install it!

I haven't yet but have been looking.

Honestly, for the money (on sale till Sunday) this is the move... The RCI kit. Even after taxes and shipping it under $300

Finally towed a real trailer with this thing...can confirm everything works as it should.

This is the same Blue-ox hitch, trailer and car I towed with my Raptor. I was disappointed that I will have to add airbags to this truck due to much more squat than the Raptor had.

Oh well, first world problems I guess

It appears that you’ve replaced your OEM side vents with optional signal/marker lights. If so, from where did you draw power for them? I came right off of the front signal/marker connectors for mine. I also replaced the OEM incandescent bulbs (2023 STX), including the mini side-markers, with CANBUS compliant LEDs. All of the replacement bulbs worked perfectly, but the vent lights only functioned properly when the truck wasn’t running (same circuits)!? The vent signals started to work correctly when the truck was running after I disabled “bulb outage detection” using FORScan. The vent marker lights are still glitchy. I may have to try going back to the incandescent bulbs in order to get the vent lights to work but I’d rather not. Any thoughts? Cheers!

Hey,

Actually my side vent replacements are not lighted.

But, I have looked into it and if I were to add them, I'd use this...

Thanks for the pointer! The time saved alone probably justifies the expense.
