Thank you. Try MLV on the rear wall only first and see if you can add some sound absorption material around that vent and maybe MLV in front of it without blocking the air flow. Based on my experience with other vehicles and my truck, I do not think you will find much gain in the floor except maybe the floor immediately behind the seats at the transition to vertical wall. The biggest difference I noticed in sound between my supercab truck and a regular cab I believe has to do with that rear wall either being closer to you, or the rear vent is different. This great feedback. I wanted to use Resonix Barrier or Resonix Guardian on the rear wall between the CDL and Fiber Mat but Barrier is on back order and Guardian at 1.375” would be impossible to fit and properly close the rear wall OEM cover.
I’ll be using Guardian on the walls and Barrier on the floor once I replace the vinyl flooring. The vinyl is not helping either with sound absorption .
The CDL itself made a big difference. The Fiber Mat as helped slightly with sound within the cabin.
Will update further once I complete the headliner.
