Here she is.

Since Ford decided not to make a Lariat Regular Cab, in going to do it myself. Took a while to find a good one, 99% of these were white, almost none had the V8 and the ones that did were short bed. I was after a long bed build for about a year now with the 5.0 and 4X4 setup. Found it and drove 4 hours same day to pick her up.

Already ordered:
  • Brink 20" B204 Wheels
  • Bilstein 6112 Fronts and 5160 Rears
  • Black Wheel Lugs
  • Side Vent LED Lighting
  • OEM Painted door handles
  • OEM Bed Lighting
  • OEM Carpet + Rubber Floor mats
  • S&B Intake
  • Shubby Antenna
  • OEM Leather Steering Wheel
Installed:
  • BAK Fluo MX4 Folding Tonneau Cover - Post #16 here
  • Resonix Sound Deadening - Post #20 here
Here are some pics!

Subscribe, If you don't mind listed sources for those parts that would be appreciated. I thought I wanted a RCSB and when I found one and test drove it I found the inside to feel smaller than my 2014 RCLB with 4” less space behind the rear seat and the dash in the 2024 was closer to me. I ended up with a super cab 5.0 4x4 instead and so far love it. I was going up a long highway ramp the other day with the truck and slowly pushed the go pedal to 3/4 of the way and liked the seemingly endless pull 😁. She loves to rev and Oh-that sound is glorious!

Nice. Just need a photo that better shows off the 8 foot bed! :)

Pick up day. Stock XLs look so bad :cwl:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For me, half the crap people do to make their truck look like every other one looks so bad. To each their own I guess.

Updated to reflect my true sentiments. Can’t deal with stock steelies on a $50K truck.

I wouldn't say the popular mods necessarily look bad, but they almost always adversely affect performance, efficiency, and reliability. It’s difficult to beat a nice original truck, especially once it has many years on it.

Nice looking truck, congrats. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Other than the OEM bed lighting and carpet/mats none of the other stuff trips my trigger. I am a no-chrome-steel-wheels guy, always function over form/substance over style, beautiful in its plainness.

Hard to tell from those pics, but it's it really a "long bed"?

Short bed: ~5.5'
Standard bed: ~6.5'
Long Bed: 8'

I'll try to link everything and will add part numbers where available. The regular cab feels very proper 'truck' to me. The short bed was too short for my usage. Glad you are enjoying the new truck!

Couldn't agree with this more. Which is one my build will be an OEM+ build. A regular cab how it should have come from factory, a few of the Lariat must have features and skipping the rest.

I'm not the negative offset, 5" lift and 35s tires with an obnoxious exhaust type of person, but I do need a level and 34s for work since the truck will be doing recovery work. (vehicles getting stuck etc).
