Great looking rig.
Call me crazy but is that rear axle paint different that the 21-23? Looks considerably more matte. Did they learn from the premature rusting?!
I thought it looked different too

Real nice truck does it have a metal skid plate ?
hard to tell from the rear pic.
I don't have the FX4 package, so I don't expect to have one. Will check later.

I actually think way too many people get the FX4 package. It makes the truck less comfortable for asphalt driving due to the hardened front shocks. At the same time, I drive on asphalt or well maintained dirt roads 99% of the time, and I suspect this is what most people do too.

Besides, FX4 package is not available on 703A (Platinum Plus).

Beautiful truck, congrats! Rapid Red was my second choice as that color and either chrome or BAP looks fantastic. The platinum interior is gorgeous. I wanted Velocity blue but for 2022 they switched to Atlas blue. It is nice but if I had been able to see it with the BAP in person, I may have switched to Rapid red. It is still nice but after seeing them personally I liked Velocity, then Rapid red, then Atlas.

I assume those are 22 inch wheels and they look great for OEM. Let us know what you think of the ride those 22's give as I always thought the 20's would be as high as wanted to go for ride comfort. I need comfort more than performance as father time is marching on. :)

Best of luck with it!

100% agree that Rapid Red also looks fantastic on BAP. The only reason I wanted the 703A Platinum Plus was the upgraded interior on smoked truffle. If I could get the same interior on the 702A (no chrome outside), I would have gotten that instead.

On the wheel size, “so far so good”. As I was saying in another reply, I think the 22 wheels are good for an “asphalt queen” truck. I think that for anyone doing any level of driving on bad roads they would quickly become a hassle.

Can honestly say I’m surprised they coated the diff and axles as in there’s no rust…I picked up both my 21 and 23 with rust already present.

I noticed that the 2024 Platinum and King Ranches have 4 parking sensors on the front/rear bumpers vs 6 sensors on the 2023s. Why? I have had a lot of issues with the parking sensors on my 2023 Platinum.

That would imply Park Assist is no longer an option on any F150

Will start with like most - very nice truck. However, I can't get past that Platinum pasted across the hood. Apologies in advance if you like it, but jeez I hope most of you find a way to have that removed.

I'm not just sure why they didn't do it in reverse so the car in front of you at the stop light would see "Platinum" show up in their mirror.

Thank you!

I am neutral on it. I wouldn’t miss it if it wasn’t there, don’t feel like removing it.
I might get it off if the 9 months of rain of the puget sound area mean they will just accumulate hard to remove dirt where they meet the body.

Nice. I like the new grille but they should have put the Platinum decal on the tailgate not the hood.

Good looking rig! Question, do they not put the chromish colored badging on the tailgate for Platinum anymore?
