The box that it retracts into takes a fair amount of space inside the bed of the truck. In my case I am planning on leveraging the T rails to add a bike rack above the cover, so the retractable cover works well. That said, many people prefer the tri fold ones because they occupy less space inside bed (which is already tiny on this wheelbase).

EDIT: The cover is pretty strong, with a Distributed Weight Rating of 500lbs. The box they retract into is strong as well, it might get dents on the paint over time, but it needs a lot to get damaged. The rails themselves I haven't found a weight rating, I am trying to find it now.
awesome! Great news. It sounds well built and should work well for my needs

Just took delivery yesterday.

Everything as expected. The factory installed tonneau cover was actually the Ford branded Retrax XR with the T rails. Back in the day they used to ship the ones without the T rails.

I will take a picture later once I am out of work, but there is no rust if that is what you are trying to see. That said, I got the truck delivered with 11.2 miles on the odometer last Friday, so it might take a few weeks for any potential rust to show up.

No PAT or additional step. I ordered a similar Platinum, same color but the 702A and it looks like you have the 703A package. I also want the PAT and I believe that is what is holding up my build date.

I don't need an applique to tell the difference between an XLT and a Platinum.
And I mean that as no disrespect to either trim level. :)
lol directly from the rear, they’re the same!

Rapid red best color ford put out in a while!

does anyone know for sure why they did away with the applique? Kind of weak not being able to tell an XL from a platinum from the rear.
If I had to guess, i would think because of the new tailgate and the way it opens.

Can you imagine if that was my 302A what you heavy hitters’ trucks would look like?!

A 302A XLT in the same paint shouldn't be significantly less pleasing to the eye externally. It's the same awesome truck short of some jewelry.

However it's the occupant(s) of the truck that gets to experience the significance of the additional co$t. And rightfully so.

Company at the house might not recognize a very well made couch that is skinned similar to the run of the mill. But I would spend many hours relaxing in/on the craftsman's best effort.

Great looking truck. I’m really opening up to more colors these days. After having four black vehicles in a row, I went with Antimater Blue for my 2023 Tremor. It was my gateway color since it can look almost black at night and on cloudy days. My next truck might have to be red.

And it appears we have a bit of a split decision regarding the tailgate tin foil. I think your truck looks A LOT better without it. I for one think it’s cheesy AF with it on. But, that’s why Baskin-Robbins has 31 flavors, right.…everyone has an opinion.

I‘m also in the group that took off the Tremor stickers on each side of the bed. The truck says Tremor all over the place, and stickers???? On a $70k, truck you’re going to give me STICKERS???

My friend’s 2024 F350 Limited is supposed to arrive this week, I asked him what his first mod was going to be, and he said ”paint matching that butt tailgate plaque”.

He, like me, dodged the chrome bug.

Great looking truck. I really like your color choice. I'm waiting for the all new 2027 Platinum Plus.

Love that interior. The red is nice, rich looking. I have that same bed cover. All aluminum. Seems very well made.

Great looking rig.
Call me crazy but is that rear axle paint different that the 21-23? Looks considerably more matte. Did they learn from the premature rusting?!
