Just back from the detailer. Had him remove the 4x4 decals before he applied the diamond coat. Also got a 5% ceramic brow tint and tinted front windows to match the rears.

Looks fabulous & love Rapid Red. Would have had that as my 1st choice on my Tremor, but FoMoCo in their infinite wisdom, felt that it was inappropriate for a Tremor. AMB is a decent 2nd choice though.

I agree about Ford's color choices by model. I might have picked up the Tremor if they offered it in red.

Very nice truck. Can I ask a favor, could you take a picture of the tow mirror extend button, on the driver side door. I added tow mirrors to my platinum and was going to switch my mirror panel because of the power extend, but no harness for the extend. Only the fold works since it is through the same harness as the windows and the mirror adjustment. I was wondering if Ford put the tow extend button in a different place or if my platinum just doesn’t have the harness for the tow extend switch.

My local Line-X dealer also does tinting. The front windows were about $150 for the pair, and the brow was another $50-ish. It turned out better than expected. Unless I'm driving into a rising or setting sun I really don't use sun glasses anymore. So much more comfortable inside the cab with the extra shade!

The Diamond Pro coating was just under $2k for the 10 year version. The paint feels like the back of your iPhone. When I wash it in the driveway, I have to use a different technique because it's difficult to keep it wet long enough to get a sponge to it. IMO that's what the paint should feel like from the factory when it costs as much as it does, but no one asked me!

They did an end-to-end paint correction including the piano black on the doors & trim, then put on four coats of the stuff over a few hours.

From the back of yours it looks like there should have been a blank in the place the button should go, but from the front it looks solid.

Thank you, yes because I had power fold factory. I added the tow mirrors and was hooking up the new switch for the extend and no power extend plug was there. I even took the panel off and no additional plug was visible. I didn’t know if Ford changed something with the 2024 wiring since I could not find any trucks with tow mirrors installed at the time of purchase.

Don't you love how close up pictures turn out. Even a perfectly clean dash will look like apes have been driving it for months.
