No 2.7 v6 option for a bit and supercrew only? Loosing lots of sales with this decision.

I think it’s Super Crew only even in the rest of the world. At least Toyota is offering their new Xtracab with a 6’ bed but it’s hamstrung for options; only getting single engine/transmission combination out of the three available.

The new Tacoma is a much better option than the Ranger and Ford has really been asleep and wishy washy with the Ranger lately; almost as if they don’t want it to be successful because it might cannibalise F150 sales.

The front end is hideous and hopefully the 2024 F-150 won’t have the Maverick grille and headlights too.

Usually I waste too much time playing with the configurator but I’m not even going to bother with the new Ranger; thanks to Ford for a bland unappealing truck in a single wheelbase and a poor value when compared with the full size F150!

Imagine how exciting it would have been had Ford offered a Powerboost Ranger or a 6 or 7 speed manual like in the Bronco? It’s like Ford wants the Tacoma to continue to be the top selling midsize truck.

No full-time 4x4 except for the Raptor, no V6 except for the Raptor, and no moonroof option either on any trim?! Huge disappointment!!

Only reason to play with configurator is for fun. I want to keep my F150 for as long as possible because I tow. That is far too much for most midsized if you have any reasonable amount of stuff and people in the tow vehicle.

The Raptor Ranger costs the same as my 4x4 FX4 Powerboost. More capable off-road no doubt. But I would argue worse in every other way. I would much rather get a Bronco.
