Hi All,
Just picked up both complete 10 way heated front seats from a 2021 F-150 XLT. I'm reading this is a direct bolt in and the factory non power STX drivers side seat harness plugs right in and the power seat should just then work.
Had a few questions:
* The XLT seats are heated, so how hard is it to get the heated seat option to work in an STX, and am assuming would have to add in a factory switch wiring etc.?
* If the idea of using the heated seat option is not used/abandoned/too complicated, will it affect anything to just keep the heating elements connected at the switches underneath the seat or should they be disconnect at the harness for the heat elements?
* The air bags are still good on the XLT seats, so can I just use them instead of swapping out the airbags from the manual seats or are they serialized/programmed to the trucks computer that would require a reprogram of any sort/throw a light?
