2024 Avalanche Build

New member here. Little bit of a background. I have owned many Ford trucks from a 1994 OBS, standard F150‘s, 3 Raptor’s (one from each Gen), and now currently back in a 2024 F150, 5.0, in Avalanche. Decided to trade in my 2021 Code Orange Raptor, which some think is crazy, however having a brand new truck that is almost paid off was well worth it To me. My Raptor was admittedly a pavement princess and I ultimately got tired of making the payments on a truck that I drove my kids to and from school with. Like most I wanted a Raptor just to say I had one. I guess maturity got the best of me. Every time I pass one now on the road, I just remind myself how I only owe $5300 on a brand new truck, which is a far cry from the $40k that I still owed on the Raptor. To me worth it.

Enough with that. Ended up with a 2024 Avalanche Grey, STX, 4X4, 5.0, 3.31 gears (currently sitting at 1300 miles). I like many can’t leave any vehicle alone so I quickly went to work. Here is the build list so far.

Current Mods:

20% Ceramic tint
Raptor wheel/tire takeoffs (315/70/17)
Tremor running boards
2” Motofab level
Corsa sport cat back exhaust
Tinted Side marker and DRL lights
Diamondback HD bed cover (swapped over from Raptor)
Tailgate soft open assist
Bed rug impact liner
neon yellow fender badges, painted black
Font bumper air damn and active air damn removed
Ford oem black lug nuts
Stubby antenna

Future Mods:

Matte Black tailgate letter inserts (arriving today)
Morimoto 3rd brake light and possibly tail lights
Ford Performance Bilstein suspension
Katzkin leather
Tremor modular bumper(if I can ever find one)
Custom fabricating some Baja Design lights to fit the factor fog housing
Switch panel for added lighting.

Very nice indeed. I'm debating a Borla or Corsa install on an identical truck in a "mild "version. Good quality SS exhaust with side look is nice. How did you arrive at the Corsa with so many other exhaust choices?

@grayDawg I ran a Corsa on my 6.2 Raptor, quality, sound, and zero drone is ultimately why. So many guys use MBRP, Flowmaster, etc. and end up regretting it or having to add resonators to them. I buy once, cry once. I hear Borla’s also don’t drone, you would be happy with either or I would guess.

Appreciate it. Correct no rub, even without the level, I had minimal rub. Once I loosened the crash bars and pushed them away 1/4 of an inch on front and rears the rubbing was gone on stock height!

Appreciate it, that was ultimately the goal. Didn’t want anything over the top, crazy offset wheels. There won’t be too many more upgrades on the exterior, pretty happy the way it is. Maybe some paint match flares eventually.

I've only done minor things to my truck but the #1 liked was the addition of matt black tailgate letters. Matt to match the bumper trim. It just completes the tailgate on the truck and makes it look 100% better.

Yeah I was looking forward to getting that done yesterday but as luck would have it they sent me the wrong ones.

They are just as bright. Idid it myself using vinyl tint from amazon..What I did was put painters tape over that area, trace the painter tape with a sharpe to form the shape, remove the tape. Place the tape on a piece of paper, cut out the shape, and use it as the template to cut the vinyl tint too. Super easy project.
