You've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky?

On 12/22/2021 I ordered a 2022 Lariat SuperCab exactly to my 'dream spec'. In May 2022 it was delivered exactly as ordered (not a single 'forced removal' of any feature) at the price agreed when ordered (in spite of 4 intervening MSRP price-hikes, the first of those effective 5-days after I ordered). (y):)

Come 2023, that truck cannot be had at any price (no Lariat SuperCab, no Lariat 500A, etc) o_O

Whew, just pure luck that I didn't wait

YMMV as they say ..... Good Luck!

If you were nearing the time to order a replacement for your 2021 lease would you guys go sooner than later for a 2023 or wait it out for the 2024… with the intention to keep the new one until it dies??
Was gonna wait for the 2024 but then the news about 2400 parts being taken out got me all frazzled
F%$#K THAT!

25,000 miles later and my Fully Loaded 2021 F150 RCSB 5.0 4x4 XLT hasn't even BEGUN to cease to amaze me.

And I don't think Ford (or anybody else) is going to give me a ZERO interest loan on a 2023, 4, 5, or 6!

No... I'm in it for the long haul and enjoying every mile.

Every time I log into “Ford Account Manager” to make my payment and see “Interest: $0.00” ….I get a semi!

Aren’t they though!

I’m kinda surprised Ford isn’t doing more to try to get me out of my 2021 given how much it’s costing them.

They send me these ridiculous flyers.. “$2,500 off the 2023 F150, blah, blah blah…” As IF I don’t know that the 2023 is $7K MORE and options I have on my 2021 are no longer available.

As soon as the Cybertruck is available and they’ve had a chance to work out the bugs, SOMEBODY is going to get a great deal on a well-maintained F150 Off-Road monster!

After what Ford put me through getting this truck, I wouldn’t buy another Ford if they filled the bed with Gold Bars!

Ford F150s are FRIGGIN AWESOME!

“Ford Motor Company” sucks big green donkey DIX and they’ll NEVER get another dime of my money.

..how you been bro? You’re one of the 14gen og’s. Always coming through with the most useful info
Or disinfo depending on the topic! 😛

Just enjoying the truck and patiently waiting for the axle bolt to shear off!

I was going to write a 12 month review last year but the XLT HDPP isn’t available anymore and neither are many of the options available on the regular cab in 2021; I was thinking late 2020 that I might order a new truck late 2023 as well but Ford had different ideas.

Now I’d either need to go with an XL at $47K or a Superduty at $56K and either way; it’s a less featured truck than what I’m driving around in now. Maybe not as bad as the Malaise Era cars and trucks but Ford is falling behind of their own products of two years ago before even taking the competition from other companies into account. Ughh...

For what its worth, I'm not exactly ready for the new truck. Too long to get into why but when I first started seeing some of the proposed changes for the 24, I pulled the trigger.

I did not want the vertical display, and abandonment of knobs, which may or may not happen but was on some of the test trucks.

So, I purposely chose a 23, over the 24.

Perhaps prematurely but so be it. Bird in the hand and all that.

The 2024 should have bumper steps and a new tailgate design,,, if it is keeper i would want those options.
It’ll be interesting to see if the tailgate can be retrofitted onto the current gen

I’ve been searching Google and Reddit for the 2024 Ford F150 literally every single day this year and nothing really specific has been released.

I’m really anxious to see how different the front end is going to look. I don’t know if it was a dream or not but I think I’ve already seen what the tail lights look like and they are very similar to the new expeditions.

But I’m mostly concerned with all the things they’re going to take away.
Redditt? People actually use that?

Pretty sure the new tailgate is going to be an expensive option. They’re not gonna just throw it onto every one they make and might not even be available on the lower trim levels ☹

Yeah exactly. The renders, which I actually believe to be likely, don't look good to me. I love the way the 21+ looks and hate the expedition and F250 facias now. Features keep disappearing and the physical button thing is so important. With this dumbfucks announcement about getting 2400 parts out of the mix, that means touch screen everything. Can't stand a digital dash.

I'm concerned that the 2024 "refresh" is a downgrade appearance department. If they follow the grill of the 2023 f350 😬

Holy shit I’ve never seen those before and as much as I love new stuff I think I might have to agree with you on the looks of that new front end. It’s not terrible but it looks a bit delicate

Unless it is a company truck the smart move financially is to buy out the lease on the 2021 truck. If leasing a replacement truck the best move is to wait until the 2023 models start to be heavily discounted and there are factory rebates being offered.

Often the last two weeks of December are good times to get a deal as the dealers get additional discounts and the more units they sell in one year the greater their allocation will be for the next year. I also like to arrive two hours before they are going to close their office as that puts time pressure on the dealer's people. I also start with the top person which is going to be either the sales manager or the finance manager.
