2023 Heritage Edition

We are a Ford family. I drive a 2021 Bronco and a 2005 Ranger FX4, my wife has a 2020 Explorer, one son has a 2013 F150 XLT, and the other son has a 2018 Fusion. I traded my Ox White 2018 F150 XLT Sport for the Bronco. When the 2023’s F150s came out, my wife fell for the Heritage Edition’s two tone paint. After we actually saw one in Avalanche in person she had to have one. We just ordered a 2023 F150 XLT Heritage Edition. 2.7, 2wd, in Avalanche, 302a, and twin panel sunroof. Scheduled build date of September 4th. I’m not seeing any Heritage Editions on the forum and was wondering why. I‘d like to see some builds. Post some pics.

I loved the look online for the most part. I'm not totally a fan of the cutoff for the upper black paint. I think they messed up not following the body lines with that and the black should start lower. It's a good look though I remember the photos online with area 51 heritage and played with that on the build website.

Interesting. It's almost like the black paint above and below are protection for the roof and lower and lower panels...except it's nice black paint with clearcoat so it's just as vulnerable as the white.
Is it a genuine heritage throwback?

Not really. I would say more of a tribute.

Ok. Just watched a video with an XLT and the 20" Sport wheels.

I think you have to go Black Appearance package with the Heritage Edition and then it works well for me. I would pair it with a high end color option to match the boldness of the black.

The dark charcoal grey 20" Sport wheels look nice on my Rapid Red XLT, but that thick black line washes them out on the Heritage. Two Cents

Yeah I just don't like where they chose to put the black on the rear of cab. Feel like it should be all black above the bed top. I know they did it like that to match the height in front though. Just personal preference.
