Lots of great info here! Thank youYep, even when something is plugged into the factory 4 pin it detects that as a "trailer" and disables lane centering
Aftermarket trailer brake controller?? ha. Don't count on the dealership telling you much or even knowing anything about it. The only versions would be an older version and I doubt you want to go that route, if even possible at this point.
I had the driver door weather stripping flutter as well. Its something different with 23s as the B pillar trim piece sticks/bends out more so the window seal doesn't have as much pressure. I ended up having to stick some some foam in the seal to tighten it up and solved it right away.

Can't help on the shavings, if its on the dipstick of all places, that's not good...
Still trying to find a resolution/work around as we speak. Just got back from my 1300 mile trip weekend pulling my single axle trailer, and I just ran majority of the time with it unplugged just to make lane centering work on the interstate. Don't worry, my tail lights are clearly visible with it unplugged so no issues there. But this seriously sucks it doesn't work like it use to on 21-22 rigs. When I got home last night I even fiddled around with some more Forscan changes and still no go. At this point, all I want is my trailer lights to function as they should and lane centering to work with them plugged in. I will, and almost already have, disabled every trailer backup, auto hitch, brake, nanny there is and still no go. I'm 99% certain as soon as it see resistance on the trailer lights connection, it senses a trailer attached and hard coded in newer software it disables LC. So if I can disabled the trailer sense somehow, but still maintain all the light functionality, that is the end goal now.Giving this a bump to see if anyone has been able to resolve this, or at least identify
