2023 f150 5.0 engine noise , is it normal ?

Hello you guys , was wondering if this tick/tap is normal ? My truck has 3200 miles , I’ve never noticed it till today .. it’s a 2023 5.0 f150

Sounds like the HPDIP (High Pressure Direct Injection Pump) that is fired off the cam on the passenger side. It is loading the injectors at 3,000 psi so it’s a bit noisy. Normal id say. Also could try turning your defroster off, sometimes A/C compressor clutches make noise. Mine for reference if the video loads:

Totally normal 5.0 sound. They all click or clack. I have owned three of them and have friends who also own them. Some with over 170,000 miles. All of them make noise.

Totally normal. Mine also makes some Ticking/Tapping noises and it freaked me out at first too. Ford has referred to these sounds as Coyote-isms before. These are just loud engines nothing to worry about.
