2023 Build and Price

I have messed around with it in the past, but did Ford recently remove the build and price for MY23?

I’ve been all over the site and can’t find it.. only MY22. Im trying to help a buddy spec out his order.

'23 isn't up yet. But if anyone knows what time of year they usually change it over, that'd be nice.

Last yeah that feature wasn't available online till like January 2022. Even when I ordered my 22 in December 21, all I could do is get an estimate of what I was getting/wanting. Once I ordered at the dealership is when I saw things were no longer available or added that used to be options. Best bet is online will only get you about a 85% solution. If he is serious, he needs to head in and get that last 15% figured out.

Doesn't the current order guide get posted here frequently? Guessing that would be the source, if it's even decipherable; it's quite daunting to casual viewer I think.

Even as last as February of this year, if I recall correctly, the MY21 and MY22 F150s were both available to build. on the site though it was apparently fruitless to try to 'build' a CTO MY21. Maybe it was to assist in finding one on a lot somewhere?

Reviewing the 7-18 Order Guide, it appears that if you want a Regular or Super Cab, you will only be allowed these options on the XL and XLT. SuperCrews are you're only option on the Lariat and above now.

If you want an 8' Box, you'll need to stick with the XL series with either the Regular or SuperCab cabs.

Both the 2023 Order Guide and 2023 pricing sheets are posted on various forums, search is your friend (with apology, I didn't bookmark when I downloaded them weeks ago). The retail website build-and-price tool is likely a long way out still as mentioned above. IMO the Order Guide has always been a much more detailed and definitive resource than online B&P anyway.

While not a redesign or any mechanically major changes for '23, there's certainly a lot of changes in how things are bundled at various trim levels and the Supercab is no longer available in the Larait trim.

You’re able to pick the colors, the updated configurations for ‘23, etc. Some of them are complete ripoffs of Fords website builder. Quite interesting.

Thanks for posting that link. That dealership actually did a good job with the build site. I think it does have an error or two but this will get you very close and give you an idea about MSRP. This would be a wonderful guide to go to the dealer of your choice with and finalize that last 5% of the build.

Just of note for any newbie here. There are dealers (Granger, Koons, Chapman for example) that will give you % under invoice so travel a little and you will save a bundle. I live in VA and I am going to Granger in Iowa. Super professional operation so far.

I just placed an order with Granger. Quick and to the point! I had talked to other dealers before that and they were nowhere close to the response time or the price. Also finding the 2023 order guide and pricing guide will help you build out a 2023. It’s on this site. Once I got a quote sheet from a dealer it was easier to find the options in the pricing sheet and then add everything up to get a price without having to go back and forth for them to make changes.
