2022 Lariat cargo light wiring harness parts

I’ve got a 2022 XLT, I took the factory lights and wiring and plugged them into the plugs under the bed and they don’t work. Anyone have any ideas on why?

Yes. Those are the connections with a dummy plug in place.

Because nothing is plug and play. Read up a few posts and you’ll see. I’m in the same boat.
Dealer has to enable or use FORscan.

Do you know what part number for the harnesses you used?
Was the lower left, where it plugs into the existing harness, a male or female? Mine is F-F and won’t work.

ML3Z-14A411-F drivers side jumper wire from existing plugged connector (dummy plug) at drivers side to switch and lamp.
ML3Z-14A411-D passenger side jumper wire from existing plugged connector (dummy plug) at passenger side and connecting to passenger side lamp.

Haven’t installed yet. I ordered the 4 parts (links provided in earlier message in this thread), and ordered the OBDLink EX to use FORScan. Fingers crossed the connections match up.

Thanks for following up on this the 726-81-**** changes were what I was missing. If anyone needs the PDF of wiring for a 22 Lariat I have it and happy to share if that's allowed

Having a strange issue... I think. My bed lights will work if the truck is "On". If the truck is off, and I hit the Bed button, it will turn on the overhead, tailgate, and mirror lights, but not the bed lights. Do yours work with truck off?

Yes mine work with the truck off. Did you apply all 4 of the FORScan changes to the bodycm file. Double check that they all were applied.

726-71-01 01xx-xxxx-xxxx (Factory set)
726-81-01 0201-xxxx-xxxx

All I can tell you is that this is the Forscan settings I used and they worked for my 22 Lariat 501A build. They are also the standard factory settings for bed lights that are installed as a factory option.

Can you show me what's set in your 726-46-01? I compared it to AsBuilt from a 22 Lariat w/Bed Util package, and I have it set the same as that.

Well, I guess I tried to outsmart myself. I reset settings to what the instructions say.. and it works. Seems to be a discrepancy with the master spreadsheet.

Changing 726-46-01 to 03E1-xxxx-xxxx from 03E8-xxxx-xxxx makes it work. Per the spreadsheet this should be BackLightingOpHoldTime:

This also doesn't line up with the VIN with a Bed Utility pkg (which seems to agree with Spreadsheet)
