I ordered through a local dealer that Ive dealt with before. I thought about Granger, Chapman and even the place in VA, but I'm not that daring. Hopefully I wont regret it.

What's the over/under on being pushed to 2023? Dont shoot me.......

I was joking about this with the dealer when I placed my order on 3/31, they were thinking 25% chance my 500A order would become a 2023. I felt more like 50%. We tried to avoid any of the known delay items (thankfully the only one I was interested in was the 360 camera, which I can live without, and which became a no-go anyway) and preemptively deleted the start/stop as apparently that’s been an issue of late as well. It is a good thing this was a planned order and not a vehicle I needed quickly, because it does look like it’ll be a while.

I will say Ford sent the confirmation email while I was still yakking with the salesman (not the first vehicle he or this dealer have sold me), so at least THAT happened fast. Lol

I ordered my XLT on 3/19. Got an email (with VIN included) on 3/24 that it was scheduled for production week of 4/24. Received another email on 3/29 saying production was changed to week of 5/2.

Based on what I am seeing from others, it seems I got a faster timeline than most?
