2022 F-150 ordering & start of production dates

Scheduling for the MY22 is supposed to start tomorrow but nothing was mentioned in the scheduling notes. I guess it's being pushed a week..?

It's getting to be that time of year ladies and gentlemen. With a great find from our own @succeed23, we now have the first draft on the production timetable for the end of the 2021 model year and the beginning of the 2022 model year.

Looks like the conclusion of the 2021 model year will run into September. If you want to place an order for a 2022 Ford F-150, the order books open 09/15/2021. Similar to the 2021 model year, the Claycomo plant runs about a month behind Dearborn.

Here is the estimated production timetable listed below:

Per Friday's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin), the updated scheduling and production timetable has been released for the 2021/2022MY F-150.

• 06/04/2021 - 2021MY Fleet Final Order Due Date
• 09/02/2021 - 2021MY Last Day to Spec Change (DTP)
• 09/30/2021 - 2021MY Last Day to Spec Change (KC)
• 11/14/2021 - 2021MY Balance Out Date (DTP)

It appears the original information was pretty close to being dead on accurate in most regards...

Scheduling notes have MY22 starting this week for the 11/22 build week (Dearborn). So builds slipped two weeks from the original plan. Not bad all considered.

Unfortunately, it sounds more like when 22 "scheduling" starts...
Hope I'm wrong but why would scheduling be on time in the current environment?
They need the same parts to fullfill 22s as they do the 21s and that isn't going well.

I am not an authority on this. I just follow the scheduling notes on blue oval forum. As I understand it the notes are for what can be scheduled this week for future production dates. The middle blue column is the week that they are scheduling to actually build if they have parts and there are no delays. SO Ford released that this week they will be scheduling for Build week of 11/29. This is for MY2022 at the Dearborn plant at least as Kansas City doesn't convert to MY2022 until December. If you search that thread on the the blue oval forums you will see that last week they were doing cleanup scheduling. So as I understand it, if it wasn't scheduled last week it probably won't be a MY2021.

Good luck getting scheduled. I am wondering if MY2023 they will start scheduling platinum again. ;-)

Has anyone with a ‘22 order been scheduled yet? The email I received from Ford confirming my order changing my 21 to a 22 said they wouldn’t start customer orders until after the quality checks were done.

I think the first opportunity to be scheduled comes this Thursday. See post 4 above this for the pic.

Wish I would receive some communication from Ford. Heck, unless I pry it out of them, I never hear from the dealer either. Somewhat frustrating.

Now the scheduling notes say retail orders aren't getting scheduled this week. We shall wait another week! (Frustrating if they're doing stock orders ahead of retail)

Well since we’re all patiently waiting on our 2022 F150s, I hope with lightening orders being delayed, Ford can focus more on delivering these F-150s and give us some progress with where our orders are at. I’m getting impatient and feeling a little guilty bothering Anthony at FP about where my truck is. Lol
