I totally agree -- I'm sorry to see Kodiak Brown and Guard go. I have both colors (Kodiak Brown on my F-150 and Guard on my Mustang) and get complimented on the colors all the time! And LeadFoot is another unique one that they should keep. Disappointing for sure. Although happy to see AntiMatter Blue made the 2022 cut.

I think Guard and Race Red were my runner's up to Velocity Blue for my build. Kodiak Brown was also gorgeous.

Once I heard a few weeks back that Atlas Blue was coming to the F-150 for the upcoming model year, I thought there might be a good chance Velocity Blue got sent to the Big Blue Beyond for 2022! ?

Sadly, I wouldn’t be surprised to see my beloved Velocity Blue Metallic get the axe if it doesn’t get decent numbers this model year. Seems hard to justify three colors of the same hue (besides the mundane grays/silvers/blacks), unless they are selling really well.



I mean, Atlas Blue , is nice and all, but.....

It’s NO comparison to Velocity Blue Metallic!!!

I don’t know what to think. It’s not listed in the headliner page with the new and deleted colors for 2022, but unfortunately you’re right. Pages 43-46 listing the colors and coinciding interior colors, Velocity Blue is not listed anywhere!

I prefer lightning blue to either of those. I miss it on my former 18 mustang gt.

Didn’t mean to ruin your night ?. A Ford rep said all available colors on the 2022 ICE F150 would be available on the Lightning. Velocity was at the top of my list as Atlas Blue doesn’t do it for me.

And it looks as if XLT black appearance package is NOT limited to a 145 wheelbase. That’s the only trim that’s actually not limited to 145. Which makes it even more upsetting and confusing as to why Lariat and Platinum is limited to 145!!!

It appears it has to be 145 wheelbase. When build and price gets updated. it will give clarity

Can’t believe they’re finally making a way to get leather on an XLT, just my luck. That was the one thing I have buyer’s remorse over and have always been a bit annoyed at them for not offering.

WHY WHY WHY does the new black appearance package on lariats and platinums require a 145 base? Why not 157? To me it just doesn’t make a lot of sense.

This was ONE option i quickly got excited about and immediately noticed the fine print in the details. Such an awesome option, but why not on 157? Or does it mean that it has to have at least a 145 to start with?
