Would anyone know on dealer status report an order shows locked? What does it mean?

Would anyone know on dealer status report an order shows locked? What does it mean?

I ended up finding out. It has something to do with blue cruise. Dealer called someone with ford because they had 5trucks on order with locked? He recommended switching to assist to get it built faster.

My 2023 F150 King Ranch is in production right now (started last week). They said it was scheduled for week of 11/7, then pushed to week of 11/14 - so i guess it was somehere in the middle. Does anyone have any experience on timefram from "in production" to delivery? I know there a re a lot of vairables, but hoping for a delivery prior to 12/31.

If your truck is being built in KC, the first day of MY2023 production in that plant is 11/17.

I just placed my order with Granger today and received an Email from Ford stating they've received my order. For most of you, from the time fGranger placed your order and Ford received it, how long was it before you received your VIN? Did Ford send you the VIN or the dealership? First time ordering a Ford and it seems a bit different from the last 3 Rams I've ordered. I appreciate any insight. Thanks!

I ordered on 10/4 through Granger.

Also on 10/4 I received an email from Ford Confirming my order

On 10/13 I received a VIN and a Build week of 11/21. Also from Ford

Today my WS showed up in the tracker and my build is now in Production. Supposedly.

Ordered from Granger on 10/18 and received email confirmation from Ford on the same day. Email with VIN and production week (11/21) received on 10/27. Order moved into production status on 11/15 with a blend date of 11/23. Moving insanely fast. I'm just waiting for the delays to start.

Several 2023 trucks have been built for over two weeks. All waiting to be shipped. We could be waiting for months.

I ordered a MY22 King Ranch in February, received VIN in July with production date of 9/15. Production date was never changed but, it has been "in production" for two months now. Not sure when it will be completed. Hopefully things get figured out and you get your truck much sooner than many of us!

On a positive note, it sounds like I’ll have plenty time to research and purchase my truck accessories before the truck arrives.

Thanks for this info. So does this generally imply that MY23 orders will stay open until July of this year? Or do they close it sooner than that (especially facing a facelift and interior refresh coming for '24.)

I don't want to miss the boat on a 2023, from what I am seeing of the 24s.

MY 22's closed on 5/13/2022. It was also closed for a period of time before that. Not sure the actual dates. but I know they closed them on 5/13 last year. I put in my order, with a local dealer, on 5/11 never got a VIN and Ford canceled all the dealers orders on 9/30.

Ordered on 10/4 through Granger and have been waiting for shipment sense 11/23. see all dates in my signature.
