2022 / 2023 Model Year F-150 Order Bank, Scheduling and Production Dates

I ordered my f150 from the dealer on 9/23 and received the order confirmation email from Ford on 9/27. I'm ordering a 5.0 XL 4x4 Screw HDPP. I'm curious if the HDPP has any impact on order scheduling?

I'm not an authority but have been told in the past that HDPP has pushed some orders back. It's kind of a crapshoot currently anyway, so I wouldn't even try to guess.

***update*** As of 9/29 I received the highly coveted "Your vehicle is scheduled for production" email from Ford. Scheduled to be built the week of Nov 7th. This is a pleasant surprise because in my mind I would have assumed that the HDPP would slow things down until Ford got enough orders to justify building a lot of them. Good stuff.

Hopefully for your sake Ford has its stuff together for the 23s better than the 22s. Mine was in production on 8/15 went on chip hold until 9/26. Estimated arrival date of 10/13 to 10/19 at dealership. I cant imagine they somehow got an abundance of chips to build the 23s on time. But maybe.

I would imagine it’s more likely they engineered around the chip issue. At least I hope so, for the sake of everyone else that ordered trucks.

How is the 2022MY Balance Out Date 10/12/22 when I am told I will not clear chip hold until 10/18/2022. Unless Im already bumped for dates that have not even been changed yet?

Just FYI....
Ordered 2023 F150 Lariat on Sept 31.
Got email that it would be be built on Oct 17th
Got another email last night saying it has been pushed back to Oct. 24.

My 2022MY is currently in production so I guess I should consider myself one of the lucky ones that my order got produced and I don't have to deal with price increase to 2023MY.
