I drove a slammed 79 Chev long wheelbase 2wd from 79-08 when I finally parked it for the last time.
slammed square longbed 2-wheelers need about a whole county to get turned around. My square 4x4 truck could do circles inside that black one.
But it sure did ride nice and went like a bat outta hell.

I don’t even try to find decent parking for my new one.
just back it as far away as I can, ‘cause a Super8 ain’t turning either, but sure does ride nice.
People around my area also have a habit parking like complete asswagons with their full size truck of choice. Parking deliberately crooked, across two or three spaces, up on a curb, making it a bitch for others to get in and out of their own cars, sometimes all four in unison. It pisses me off to no end, and is blatantly inconsiderate. I vowed if I every did get my truck delivered, I’d still park like a normal, sane driver and not like those douchebags. Hence, a large part of the reason I park way out in the lot!

I duck in parking garages when I drive under the concrete support beams....like that's going to do any f'n good lol
Thought I was the only one! There is a “seven foot clearance” bumper tube thing at the beginning of a parking garage I use a lot. It’s dang close! I had to put the sun shade back on the moonroof back a couple time to make certain I was clear! I still do it as a reflex!

There are some very cool memes about how people "express their opinion about those parkers"

Yes. And I can confirm after driving theirs the radius is bigger.

You may be referring to the adaptive steering making it easier to maneuver in lots until you lock out (shorter turn to lock at lower speeds), which I agree is true and super nice.
Okay, this is me walking my snarky reply earlier back, Per Ford's official documentation the 19 wheelbase is 145" the 21' is 145'4"'s; 19' track width is 67.6" front and rear, 21' track width is 67.9 front, 68.3 rear, 21' turning circle is 47.8' (they don't even list the turning circle for the 19'

I’ve seen those! Believe me, I’ve strongly considered picking up a batch of these for my own!

Yup. This is the 2015 (which I assume is the same until 2020) :

47.8 for 5.5ft bed Supercrew 4x4 and 4x2. Same as 2021 listed specs...

I'm hoping that the extra inch of tire on the 20's caused the ford engineers to adjust when steering locks for rubbing purposes. I ordered mine with the 18's so if it ever comes I'll let you guys know if it's any different.

I don't have my 2021 yet, I felt that my 2018 had a worse turning radius then my previous 2015, however, when i test drove 2021 back in February I thought it had a better turning radius then the 2018.

I wonder if the steering assist on the upper trims helps at all? I understand wheel lock is the same but they charge extra for some reason. Any upper trim owners what to add info on how well the assist works

Before it burned I was getting to learn the turning radius, or lack there of, of my 157. Coming from a 2010 extended cab Silverado the difference was quite noticeable. Whatever happened with the tech that was developed to turn all 4 wheels? I think that was a Chevy thing if I remember correctly.

On second obs, I realize you have to pull alot harder for the last bit of turn on the wheel for the platinum's adaptive steering to lock out. This may have cause me to think full lock is shorter than it is. Non adaptive units, it's much more linear/easier to get to full lock.
