2021 F150 RCSB on order
I've got a 2021 RCSB 5.0 4x4 with 3:73 electronic locking differential and I am hearing mixed information to what rear end it will come with. Is it possible to get the 9.75 rear end in the model I ordered or are they all super 8.8's? I can't find any literature that will tell me exactly what options get you the 9.75 rear end in the RCSB's nor can I find anything that says you won't get it.

I've already pre-ordered the whipple stage 2 kit and I am contemplating changing my order to have the 3.31 rear gears, but will only do so if the 3.73 option doesn't get me the 9.75 rear end. Any help would be much appreciated!

Only thing I can add here is that my 2.7 Screw with the 3.73 ELD came fitted with the 9.75”.
I was expecting the 8.8.

All 3.73 geared trucks are supposed to get the 9.75" rear axle housing. I had the ordering specialist at my dealership contact Ford to specifically ask the very same question about the regular cab short bed model.

It's confusing, since absolutely nothing about it is mentioned in the configurator tool. You can always have your dealer ask the same thing to make sure nothing changed.

Searching VINs and typing them into parts.ford, you won't find any trucks of any configuration that aren't equipped with the 9.75" which have 3.73 gear ratios. It gets more complicated on the longer wheelbase trucks, since Max Tow will also equip the 9.75" 3/4 floating rear axle housing. Of course, after a bunch of research; I wound up deciding to go with the long bed solely because of the higher GVWR and extended range fuel tank.
