Thanks Bob for posting this.
One thing I noticed in this is refueling. The Hybrid is different.
REFUELING
When refueling your vehicle:
1. Make sure the ignition is switched off.
2. If your vehicle is an HEV, press the button to open the fuel filler door.
For all other vehicles, pull the rear of the fuel filler door to open it.

I saw that. I had actually seen the fuel release door button on the test drive I did. I thought they had all went to that. I wonder why just the hybrid? No big deal at all just curious.

I think the fuel release button only works with the key “off”, and the delay in opening may be to allow stray moving electrons to dissipate prior to refueling.
No telling what kind of electrical activity is running around with High Voltage, Low Voltage, AC current and DC current.
