Put them in the oven, soften the glue, pull them apart and paint them!Can we possibly have a close up and run down on what was done to the headlights to make them stand out white.
Wish it was still that easy with modern headlights. Last I heard it's a 4+ hour job pulling the headlights apart on newer Fords if you prefer to bake them instead of cutting them. They are sealed with permaseal and not the soft butyl glue now.Put them in the oven, soften the glue, pull them apart and paint them!
Are they painting all these plastic parts? What process do they use? The body shop told me that you can't paint over chrome and the plastic has to be 100% smooth or the paint won't stick. Would like to do a similar job to my Platinum IF it ever gets here but getting told 10 different things about painting these parts.
