Still playing the waiting game unfortunately. Due for an oil change, no excessive burning of oil or pinging with new engine so far, two open recalls 1-program update on the towing system, and 2- wiper motor. Still idling rough at stops though. MPG slightly lower at 20.5 average whereas I was averaging 21-21.5 can't complain on that aspect after all it is a truck.

Don’t think that idle is going to go away brother. My new 2022 still does it. I’m actually, unfortunately, used to it now.

after a smooth running 2018 my 2021 ran rough and idled poorly. The same engine in my 2022, thankfully runs as well as the 2018 i liked so much , at least so far.

These rough idle conversations are really starting to discourage me from trading up my 2012 Eco, which I haven't had any issues with at 107K. Is this rough idle a common affliction on these new trucks or just a rare isolated occurrence? Should it be best to wait 'til the 2023s come out? Or go with the 5.0?

I recommend test driving both the 3.5 and 5.0 if at all possible.
