An interesting piece of info we can glean from the 2021 F150 VIN decoder is that the 14th gen 2021 Raptor may no longer be offered in a SuperCab model and only come in the far more popular four-door SuperCrew configuration, as only the SuperCrew-Raptor is listed (while the regular model lists all the different configurations). The SuperCab Raptor likely won't be missed by many however, as the SuperCrew F150 and Raptor are much more popular.

The presence of the SuperCrew Raptor on the "2021 Ford F-150" VIN sheet also indicates that it will launch as a 2021 model year - at the same time as the regular F150, and unlike the 13th gen Raptor which didn't launch until two years after the regular F150 lineup.

From our preview look thread, here's an early look at the 2021 F-150 (14th generation) should resemble.

The Raptor and F-150 look better in Supercrew anyway. Is the wheelbase length the same for the current Raptor Supercrew and Supercab?

Even with the higher take rate of the Supercrew vs Supercab I wonder why they decided to axe it. Big cost savings by building only one version of the Raptor? It's a niche product anyway.

Raptor is a niche so the SuperCab, which was the lowest selling option, was the niche of a niche, so it makes financial sense to get rid of it.

Pretty big difference between the SuperCab and SuperCrew in terms of wheelbase and length. If they were the same I'd imagine cost would not be a big issue to offer both.

WheelbaseSuperCab: 134.2 in (3,410 mm) SuperCrew: 146.0 in (3,710 mm)
LengthSuperCab: 220.0 in (5,590 mm) SuperCrew: 231.9 in (5,890 mm)

I personally liked the SuperCab better but I understand why Ford would axe it from the Raptor lineup.

I just got my 2020 super cab last Monday. I am so glad I got the exact truck I wanted before they are gone. Thanks Ford, you just upped the value of my truck and made it even a more rare sighting on the roads of America !!
