2021 F150 Platinum Wheel/Tire Weight

I don’t think our factory wheels weigh the same. The Hankooks based on tire rack are 42lbs. Backing into the platinum wheel weight from my total 83 would put them at 41lbs.

That seems like a heavy wheel especially for a half ton. Even dropping 5-6 pounds of wheel would probably increase mileage a decent amount.
On edit* Two different stores are showing the tires as ~44.5-45 pounds which would put the wheel at more like 38 pounds which seems to be more inline with other factory 20" wheels.

Did yours have the Hankooks on them too? I’m moving to a lighter Venom Rex wheel this week. Curious to see how/if it impacts mpg.

It did. I didn’t notice any mileage change but I didn’t expect too given how close the OEM and new pkgs were in overall weight

That’s why I feel like something us up with mine. Given how close the overall weight is I can’t imagine it dropping me down as far as it has. Good to know yours didn’t fall off that much.

I had been looking all over for the full wheel and tire weight on the 20” platinum wheel and hankook dynapro at2 set up. Finally got my take offs and weighed them. Thought others might benefit. Total weight per tire/wheel is 83.1 lbs.

My Platinum is a powerboost, so I wanted to try and keep the weight down as much as possible. I decided to go with 20x9 +12 Black Rhino Apache’s and 275/65/20 Toyo AT3’s. My set up comes in at 89lbs (34# wheel/55# tire) per corner. Hopefully that’s helpful for others as you’re looking at what tire/wheel combo you want on the Platinum.

Did you recalibrate your Speedo when you jumped up tire size? Also what suspension mods did you do? Your truck looks incredible.

Despite the dealership telling me they did. I don’t think they did the first time. I think it’s updated now. I have the Fox 2.0 leveling kit on it.

Looks awesome. Have one on order that should be delivered within the month and wanting to get tint and a level/lift. Sort of like yours is it leveled?
