Hey JW,
I'll just say this... I started with a PDF from Ford's "Build and Price" website. Got a quote from Granger, and used that number when I sent the same PDF to about 20 other dealers near and far. Some will respond, some won't. You'll have to go back and forth with them as they try to figure you out... Just make your inquiries serious... WATCH THIS VIDEO AND, as many of their videos as you can, they cover Hold-back and a whole lot more. Know what you want (and price you'll pay) before actually sitting down with a salesperson.

It took me nearly two months and over fifty emails of back and forth until I felt satisfied that I reached the very with bottom dollar. I only personally met with two dealers, one last friday and another today; AND PUT MY MONEY DOWN! (This forum generally will say 1-1.5k under invoice is a fair deal.) All my computer screen time paid off very well $2,837.

Ford's "Build and Price" MSRP was $46,230, and I signed for $40,500.
GOOD LUCK!
What area of the country are you in? I am not finding a dealer who will budge on MSRP on an order and they are selling any truck on the lot at 5k over MSRP.

I’m in Missouri, order accepted on 6/4/21, MSRP was $64,880 and agreed to $58,706 + $210 in dealer fees. There are dealers out there that aren’t taking advantage of market conditions.

Brother, It looks like you may have to sit on your hands for a while...

I was extremely fortunate that my truck must have gone through the assembly plant was at the right time (when a shipment of computer chips came in). I'm near Springfield, Missouri.

I know its been nearly a year since this was posted, however I want to point out that either Ford has updated pricing or there is an error in the document.

My Lariat 4x2 SCREW, 145in wb, ordered on 5/21 has an base MSRP of $47,905 however this table shows it at $47,555. All the other options still match up, just the base MSRP is off $350

The prices are subject to change and the only time you’re confirmed on price is when the window sticker is printed. Also, the prices are known to shift a bit between job 1 and 2 every year
