2021 F-150 Payload Stickers

Im going to probably be ordering XLT SCREW with mid 302 package, tow mirrors, HDPP. I'm torn if I need the FX package. But I probably would as you never know for sure with campgrounds. most are pretty good. also I dont think i need BLIS.

It’s a good ride, only pulled from dealer and a practice jog around town. Felt pretty comfortable for a newbie. I got the 4*4 just in case I’m in one of those sticky spots

I attempted to reconcile the payload with the listed options weight but couldn't get it to add up:

According to Ford the highest payload my truck could have is 2,640 lbs.

I added up the following options to 298 lbs. That would give me 2,342 lbs of payload but the sticker says 2,389. I'm probably missing something obvious but it's close enough for me.

This is fantastic! Thanks for sending me the weight specs worksheet as well. By my calculation, I should end up in the 2,400-2,450 range. Maybe I'll get a payload bonus on the sticker like you!

With me (fat guy), tonneau cover, headache rack, console safe, and car seats.

Glad I have some payload to spare for the trailer, family and camping gear!

That’s a great achievement!

After a ton of research and debate I ended up with almost a similar build. My 20’ TT has 800-900lbs tongue weight so not a lot of room to work with but i was willing to trade the sunroof, Fx4, Tonneau, Spray in Liner and powered tailgate with step for a bit of buffer on the payload. Those features alone are ~250 lbs. I may add those later on but much easier to add aftermarket (w/exception of sunroof) than subtract later on.

I did see recently on a thread where several people went with the XLT w/max payload and swapped the cloth for aftermarket leather seats for about $1,000 at the dealership and rolled the cost into the purchase. Brilliant solution to get the payload but not sacrifice comfort / luxury entirely. Personally I wanted some of the safety features on the Lariat (better lights and such) but I could see the appeal.

The Lariat headlights performed worse in tests than the XLT 302A lights. Of the 3 headlight options the 302A had the best.

By "Lariat", do you mean the projector? Technically that's only 502A. 500a/501a get the same as 302a.

But according to IIHS, your statement isn't correct.
