How does that thing ride with 48psi in the tires?
Good to see I don’t have to buy full d-range tires if I’m going to push close to my max payload.

I’d be interested to see the full spec sheet. I have max tow, moonroof, XLT on mine as well but about 1,000 lbs payload less than this.

I’ve got max tow, moonroof, XLT and am at 1691.

HDPP adds like 600-800 normally depending so pretty normal ??‍

Max tow Package.
Came with 275/65/18 tires but I swapped them for Ford 275/60/18 wheels. Does this affect payload?

Payload = GVWR - curb weight

Tires are unsprung weight. The change is minimal. The only way to know for sure is to get a weight of the truck after the change.

It rides smoother than I anticipated, it is a bit stiffer as to be expected but having driven it for a few weeks now I can honestly say it quite comfortable to drive and ride in. Haven't put it a load on it yet however.

Very limited in what you can get the HDPP with. It's 301A or lower, and I know there are a few other restrictions with it as well.

Just got mine today—for a fairly well-equipped truck, I’m very pleased with its payload rating. I didn’t want to give up many luxuries but still wanted a respectable payload capacity, and while I’m nowhere near a lot of you, I’m happy with where I ended up.

Truck is a Lariat 502A SuperCrew 4wd FX4 3.5EB with pano roof, max tow, 145” WB, and a few other small options—but no power tailgate, no power running boards, no spray-in bedliner, no 2kw outlet…

Has anyone been able to identify the difference in payload capacity, if any, of the Tow Package vs Max Tow Package? After reviewing all of the stickers it appears the tow package may increase payload due to the lighter axle...?

The max tow does seem to reduce payload but impact varies depending on the spec. Ex: the Powerboost already has the 3/4 float axle, so really only adds the larger rear brakes. I think its a ~20lb-50lb hit from what I can tell in this thread depending on spec.

I can’t wrap my brain around a beefier setup with better brakes having LESS capability, so I added it despite the weight penalty.

I think I have the lowest payload I’ve seen in this thread. It’s a little sad when my wife’s suv has a higher payload than my new truck.
