Going to dealership to order a 21 F150, looking at the builds, 4 - 6 months is what is to be expected. I have the xplan from Ford, was wondering what others have been paying?

Actually, 4-6 months is not to be expected. An order placed this week should be delivered in early February if there are no supplier hold ups, which seem to be closer to resolved than further. There was a just a delay in the start of production that has impacted orders. Once they are rolling it should only take 8-10 weeks tops.

I worked a better deal from the dealership. I started with dealer invoice - not much different from the XPlan I had. I negotiated thousands below the invoice. My dealer stated once I lock in an XPlan it’s locked not not much negotiation from that. I’m satisfied with below invoice + incentives now and/or at time of delivery if incentives are to my advantage. Best of luck.

I see many new posters lately and want to take a moment to welcome each of you to the best 14 Gen F150 site on the web.

I know for I have checked them all out. You will get more info and not find a better membership group!

I'm with Timmay, The way things seem to be settling in and the numbers starting to roll out, I believe, within the next week or two you will be look at around 10 weeks from order to delivery. That is provided that your dealer had allocations when you placed your order. They are not always up front with that info.

I think we should see OKTB in the next couple of days but I have said that before and it came and went. Of course there was some unforeseen vendor issues. These of course can pop their ugly head up at any time.

My head is spinning, So your ordering your truck that gets here in May and your wife's in the spring that gets here in the fall. Or you both put in your order every 6 months? Are you sure she doesn't work for GM I think I saw you all on a Christmas commercial. This is true patience... I think

No we both order new vehicles twice a year (once in the spring and once in the fall). But they order 4-6 months ahead so I'm ordering now for a vehicle I'll get in the spring...if that makes sense?

2021 F150 Limited w/Powerboost - @ a dealership about 25-30 miles from me. Guess it got away (shipped) before the thiefs could get it. . Note: As expected due availability issues - This one has no full reclining seats.

No not 100%, it's showing on the dealership website for sale - I looked around and couldn't find the statement (like other dealerships), of in transit.

Yep, they don't have it on-hand. It's scheduled as in transit. I don't know why this delearship couldn't state that on their site like others do.

Keep me updated too, I get lots of questions and they all are kind of scrambled in my head most of the time. I wish some Ford guy would monitor this site and offer info. Stuff like that would go a long way for Ford.
