I'm curious if anyone has ordered a 2023 Platinum with Ecoboost? I'm trying to confirm it comes with dual exhaust. I configured a 2023 Platinum, with 3.5 ecoboost on the Ford site . When configured it shows dual exhaust, but only with the ecoboost ( Did not select BAP). Dealer wasn't sure, but stated if that's what it showed on Fords build site it should be right.

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, so my apologies if this has already been discussed elsewhere but really appreciate any feedback! I ordered my 2023 King Ranch 4x4, v8, Azure Grey Metallic (fully decked out) on July 27, 2022 (confirmed immediately by Ford) and I still have not received a VIN and build week. Is this what y'all are seeing elsewhere? Is this way too long? Should I be calling the dealership? Appreciate any advice/comments y'all have! -Alex

There were some exceptions but many 5.0s were put on the back burner for '23. Until recently only "limited" 5.0s were scheduled. I think I was the first 5.0 & 302A truck that was scheduled for my local dealer.

Based on what I know I think it's expected for 5.0 to take longer to get scheduled.

I ordered a MY22 on 5/11/2022 through a local dealer. I never received a VIN and Ford canceled all the MY22 orders from my dealer on 9/30.

So depending on your dealer it may take a while. If you do not have money locked in to your current order, and if you are paying MSRP I would highly suggest going through Granger if you can.

If it's helpful, I ordered a very similar configuration on 10/22/22 and it is scheduled to be built on 1/20/23. I'm estimating that it will arrive at the dealer between 2/20/23 and 3/20/23 which would put me at 4-5 months in total.

What did you order out of curiosity? Does it have a lot of supply constraint items on it that a dealer could install? Heard things like black appearance, mud flaps, bed liner, covers, etc delay the orders big time right now

@jpsmitty16 I see that you are currently built and awaiting shipment. It completely sucks that it took nearly a year to be delivered, but hopefully, it is worth it once it finally arrives.

More detail with my order timeline. Ordered 3/29/22. No vin received for 2022 order. Converted to a 2023 9/8/22. Built 11/28/22. Still not shipped.

I ordered lariat 502a BAP, 3.5 hybrid engine, 7.2kw, moonroof, B&O 18 speakers, interior work surface.

nothing crazy they are just taking forever to ship for some reason. I’m in buffalo ny, built in Dearborn so no rail necessary. It’s convoy delivery
