How long from order confirmation and VIN assigned until you get any details about build date, expected delivery date, etc...?

If you get a VIN assigned you should be assigned a build week. That’s all the info you get until about a week or so before the build week where you see what day your build is scheduled for. On or around your build day you should get a window sticker and the remaining details of expected delivery.

However - the 07 29 21 at the bottom is the day your truck was built.

Thanks. I got an email from my dealer salesman saying it would be built next month (kind of generically). I can pull up info on the ford vehicle tracker, but it only shows "order confirmed". How/where/when do I get an build date?

Build Week Info:

• How/
• Where: Through your salesman/dealer or through chat with https://performanceparts.ford.com/contact-us/
• When: Assigned when VIN assigned

Build Day Info:

• How/Where: Same how (dealer/Ford Chat)
• When: Up to a week prior to your build week.
  • Ex: Build week 9/20. --> Build date may be assigned 9/10 or later (most scheduling updates come out on Friday)

Window Sticker --> Should be available about a day or so before your build date.

The Ford rep cancelled the retractable tonneau due to lack of availability so I am having the Retrax tonneau installed once the truck arrives at the dealership.

Yesterday, I was at the dealership signing all the paperwork to complete the purchase in order to get Ford 0% interest ( I will be out of the country).

The Sales Manager called the Ford Rep to see when the truck would be leaving Dearborn. The rep couldn't answer the question and we still do not have an answer as to when the truck will ship.

I finally got my truck on 8/5. Ordered 4/22; built in Dearborn 7/14; delivered 8/5/21. It sat at the spray in bed liner place for 3 weeks luckily I am local and once released it was delivered 2 days later.
