In order to centralize information for tracking you F150 order I have gathered sever links I have used over the years and will post them here. Also info that can help you actually track the train rail car if your truck is shipped that way (have to verify that still is working).

If you have some additional links that provide such information please list it and I will add it here so all is in one location.

Retail orders at a dealer are pre-sold units, those are the ones folks special order.
Stock orders are what the dealer orders for their lots to sell.

The 2021 data is not loaded yet but when it does you can see and download the manual for your 2021 truck here. https://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/brochures/

Ford How-To Videos: When the 2021 info starts showing up here, there will be videos on how to operate your new model. Sync4, programing your phone to your truck ect. https://owner.ford.com/support.html#/categories

TRACKING Once You Have a VIN: https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/

Your Window Sticker: http://www.windowsticker.forddirect...https://www.f150forum.com/vindecoder.php?vin=1FTFW1ED1MFA02062
This one is a bit tricky. Remove the VIN off the end of this link (in red) and put yours in place of it. About a week or so before your vehicle actually goes into production you will be able to print you window sticker from this link.

ETIS: Electronic Technical Information System: ETIS contains lots of useful information about your truck AFTER it’s built. You’ll need your VIN# to access ETIS. Before your truck is built, the ETIS build date is only a placeholder, something like 30.11.0002. It means nothing so don’t waste time trying to decipher it.

Window Stick Explained (see photos below) Ever wonder what all those meaningless codes and numbers at the top and bottom of your window sticker mean? Wonder no further!
See the attached images containing annotations of what (most of) the various segments and codes indicate.

Tracking Your Truck While on Rail
If your truck is transported to your dealer by rail you can get updates on that also but be warned it's a bit of a challenge sometimes.
  1. To track the railcar, call CSX at 1-800-235-2352
  2. When prompted for location or weight, press 1 or say "location".
  3. When prompted for the car initials, say "ETTX" or press 32-81-81-92.
  4. When prompted for the car number, say or press your 6 digit ETTX car number.
  5. When prompted for the next car, press ## or say "Done".

A recorded voice will tell you the last known arrival or departure location of your rail-car. Most times, it won't provide an ETA (and anyways, it's likely not an ETA related to your vehicle specifically).

Since this is like 5 years ago, it may have changed a bit, but if you can find out the rail line and car it is loaded on, you can find the tracking information for that rail line to at least figure out how close to home it is. I did this with a 2013 FFH Titanium I had special ordered and knew up to the day when it where it was once it shipped. The dealer can usually provide the rail information as well.

Also there a few Extended Service Plans ESP sold by Ford dealers at greatly reduced rates than probably what your dealer will offer you. I have used Flood Ford and can highly recommend https://www.floodfordesp.com/index.php and https://www.zeiglerfordesp.com/default.aspx are the two I'm aware of. They sell on line and at a high volume passing the savings on to their customers. My savings was right at 50% less from what my local dealer wanted. If nothing else use their figure to make your local dealer match it. These are Ford plans not after market, you fill it out online and they mail you your proof of ESP. Any un-used part is rebated back to you.

This is just info I have found over the years of ordering several Ford trucks and buying way too many new cars in my life time. I just want to pass on what others have showed me when I was trying to find info to save money and track my new Ford truck order.

I will update this post as more information becomes available from others with such knowledge and working links.

Good luck to all with you new truck orders, hope they arrive soon, safe and sound!

Just stumbled on this... there isn't a way to track your truck after it's off the rail car is there?

Not that I have found since the old system quite working. Roger just asked me the same thing.

You will have to get with your dealer and find out who orders their vehicles. Get with them and ask for a full history report, he can pull it up at anytime. It will show where your truck is, even while on the train. Here is a copy of one of mine.

Oh, well from there you and your dealer will be in the dark.

It's in the hands of a hauler company now. Dealer should know the company that is doing it but that is not much help honestly. Most haulers send a notice when they are a day or so from receiving a shipment.

Has anyone else had a problem with the automated rail response? Following the instructions above I called and entered the rail car information, both as "ETTX (32-81-81-92)" and as it is listed on my history "TTGX (81-81-41-92)" followed by the number "851428" and it tells me the same thing for both "railcar has been released by customer on January 7th at 6:00 at Dearborn Michigan. There is no ETA."

The issue is my truck was loaded on Mar 14th, so I'm assuming it is pulling old information. Just wondering if anyone else is having a similar problem tracing railcars? I don't want to keep bugging Pioneer, but at this point that seems to be the only way I can track it since my dealer is useless for this.
Same here, called and I put my info and it says it was released to a customer in January. Anyone know what we’re doing wrong?
